You don’t think it’s possible for them to gate off that area and check people in just like any ordinary S&S?

Seems like too large of an area to keep the hhn people in and organized plus it's a major throughway for the nonHHN people leaving. But I'm sure Universal could figure out the logistics for this if they think the "no S&S" benefits outweigh the logistical negatives.

With attendance so far being evidently short of Universal's expectations, and September promising even lower attendance as there probably will be almost no tourists from beyond 500 miles,
I'm wondering if they'll close USF down, except for HHN. I realize that's a pretty far fetched idea, but this is a pretty bad stretch of covid infection. So far, what little attendance there has been seems
centered in IOA, a more thrill oriented park probably more popular with locals. IOA opened for the day with USF just HHN, perhaps. Apologies if someone has already mentioned this on the thread but I've only
read a few pages on HHN since I'm not vacationing this year due to covid concerns......and even if they do have USF open during the day, with the reduced attendance it should be much easier to close it and
move the non HHN people out of the park, especially on the very slow weekdays.

Seems to me like they could easily expand Springfield S&S to Kidzone as well.

Don’t they use most of Kids Zone for the parade building queues?

I believe those lights were installed for the new Macy's Christmas Parade they debuted a few years ago.

Hmmm it’s starting to look like we just might get a early opening for the tribute store this year!

Definitely way early for the tribute store construction, I wouldn't be surprised if the August 1st rumor was true. If anything, that would be the day to stealth drop announce everything.

"Hey, here's all the Houses/Zones for 30, plusssss we've got an extended tribute store open today! Go to Universal Orlando!"

I’m just curious what the theme of the tribute store will be. I can be it solely being 30 years 30 fears and just have props from the past all over the shop or it could be like last year with beetlejuice, hillhouse and monsters again? I still think billie is prob the biggest house this year but I’m not sure how they could theme a room to her without having details of what the house will be like this year.

I think entirely moving it from Springfield to Kidzone makes more sense. That Springfield S&S is so densely packed. KidZone has a lot of room for people to space out.

Looks like the rumors of the tribute store opening early are true.

I was thinking the tribute store opens on that August 1st date, and maybe like the first & only room open at that time, would be the 30 years of fear themed room, with past HHN stuff, like how the online store was, and then the Beetlejuice, Billie, and other IP’s rooms, would be closed off maybe? And will actually open once it’s announced.

That makes sense but man I’m so tired of waiting for announcements

I’m hearing the event could start earlier without letting people know about it, does anyone else know about this or has heard this?

I mean that would be kinda weird since it’s a paid event

I was thinking that especially, considering they are waiting until the absolute last minute to decide on anything.

TMs are only being asked about scheduling for Sep 10 - Nov 1, so I doubt it.

I'm starting to get the feeling the event is gonna be dead. Like, almost nobody is gonna be there most nights. I could be wrong but this pattern of Universal's attendance makes it feel like even "Hey guys, we have a haunted house about BILLIE EILISH!!!!" isn't even enough to attract an onslaught of people. Good thing for us not for Universal? They are completely different audiences between daytime and HHN though, so who knows.

First week will prob be insane like always but I kinda agree with you i know a ton of locals down there refusing to step foot in a park this year and everything. It will be very interesting to see how it turns out and also how it will effect next years event
