Super Nintendo World - Hollywood (General Discussion)

These look great! Very nice!

I wonder how long it takes for a news outlet to do a Google image search, find them, and use them in an article as if they're real though.
Thank you
Yeah, that happened to me before when I made a fake leak for a rumored Tomb Raider game. I couldn't help but laugh.

You got it! As far as I know, it’s been pushed back a year, so around spring 2022. Apologies if that’s already been stated on this thread since.

Whoa that's crazy! A whole year? I respect the decision but man will that be a long wait.

At this point, if things are still like this by Christmas, I wouldn't be surprised this might be finished by fall 2021. Seems like a lot of work needs to be done.

Me too. I reached out to SC Drone and they advised it was just too hot to go out and get any video. Hopefully next week.

I guess I'm not too surprised by the 2022 rumors. I hope they just keep on going for now because if the parks can be at 100% by next Thanksgiving then thats when they should get it open and try to make capacity to make headlines.

Quite obviously they haven't finished the buildings, let alone painting the designs on the outside as of yet. If things like this continues past Chrismtas, it looks like this might not be finished by the end of 2021.

This was Japan in Feb 2019, seems like a similar stage to where Hollywood is now.

If we follow a similar schedule to USJ we have roughly another 15/16 months of construction, that would be a Summer 2021 opening.

Even with delays I think it's possible for them to open by late 2021.

I think it'll be done next summer then just sit there, sadly, like how Japan currently is. I think its just the realness of this current situation.

My only other thought, are Governments possibly not allowing it to open due to how nearly impossible it is to socially distance in these areas? Not that Hogsmeade/DIagon are much different but we aren't talking about the FL Government, talking about Osaka/Japan, and California which are proven to be operating, and approaching operations, differently than Florida is. Just because things are open in Florida doesn't mean they'll be open/be open the same way in other parks is my main point here, so I just wonder if this is a big concern for opening, and for Universal, if they follow capacity/social distancing guidelines, maybe not enough people can fit, therefore its not worth opening?

All armchair speculation, of course, and not at all what Im rooting for but I think their worthy topics. Id think track is in for MK, since we got glimpses of some earlier in the year I believe, so this being completed by next summer sounds right on, its just when does it actually open up to people.

If it will be done by summer 2021, then that's a big significant process that it's finished. Whether it will be closed or not forever depends on the current COVID-19. All I know that it's finished and it's waiting to open anytime soon as long as the situation calms down.
