Is my understanding correct? Stay and scream is not a full day ticket. It is an add on to a hhn ticket that allows you in the park before it closes for the day guests?

Its either an add on ticket or you can do stay and scream with your normal day ticket or AP

I bought the rush of fear tickets with express for Friday/saturday night. Can I add stay and scream to a single day? When I tried to buy it online it kept telling me I needed a hhn ticket.
My first time going to this event, and all the ticket options made me dizzy.

Am I the only one having trouble finding event hours anywhere? Is every night a 2am night this year?

I would just call the Ticket hotline and explain the situation. They will let you buy it that way

Hopefully Universal learned from last year to have better ops from day 1.

Beetlejuice queue filled up the entire central park viewing area way before 5:00 and it was spilling out. For the Weeknd, I expect it to be way worse.

And hopefully, considering that it rains opening night every year, they utilize Animal Actors as a queue/waiting area.

They used that area for Hill House last year. When we were there, they let the Central Park side fill up a bit before letting a large group cross over the Animal Actors.

Ive always got 2 ponchos, tums, advil, and bandaids in my park survival fanny pack.

Question about the food/drink stands. What are the lines like? Should we plan on eating before we go?

I wonder, with the added food booths and the QR scannable menu, if that would help lines a bit. TBH, I still think a lanyard would help this tremendously.

Is it possible to get a specialty drink minus the alcohol? Asking for a friend…

The alcoholic drinks are premixed and are poured out of a container, sorry. But they'll have non-alcoholic specialty drinks, too.

Are there more food booths this year? Compared to previous years? Or was last year just a one off year because of covid?

I’ve got a couple days I’ll probably be super close to 5 for S&S. Do I realistically have a good shot at getting in if I’m at park gates at 4:55?

It looks to be the same as last year, but there's definitely more variety than before. Pre-Stranger Things, a lot of the menus featured the same stuff.

If you go to Finns they typically can make the specialty drink and SOME of the drinks. There will def be non-alcoholic versions of drinks & you might be able to get "virgin" ones of some of these at Finns but honestly I wouldn't bet on it.
