Avatar coming to DCA

I guess I’m one of the very few people who is excited this is still happening. I’m glad they’re sticking to their guns with this because it looks great! It also tells me they’re very confident this will be a slam-dunk.

I’m really curious as to why so many people are militantly against this? We’re getting a new ride system that’s been requested for YEARS and we’re getting something new! Zootopia would just be a clone of an okay looking ride.

Not to mention the Satui cantina is delicious at AK! I’ll be happy if they bring that to DLR!

I think because they were having trouble wrapping their heads around something as massive as Avatar being crammed into the backlot and thinking it would work better in Simba. But Disney really knows how to really maximize the space they have in Anaheim.

I also believe there will be more to this land showed off at the parks panel Sunday, perhaps a second D ticket attraction.

It's pretty simple, never cared for Avatar and Pandora in DAK falls firmly under "It's nice, but not that nice.". It's not like Cars Land which honestly impressed the heck out of me even though I don't care for that series.

For me, the best part of Pandora has nothing to do with the films themselves, as it's Satuli Canteen. But here's the kicker, Disney is not calling this a "Land". But a "Destination", so there's a chance all that DCA is getting is a ride with no Satuli.

But that would be wild if they left out the restaurant. You really think they would miss out on some money, especially with LA foodie culture? You could easily cram a restaurant with second-story seating in there. I think there will be some eatery there.

But now we know how it’s gonna fit!
