Here's the new minions on the sign, and yeah, the wires have LED's and light up at night. It's pretty amazing.

I was wondering if/when Minions would show up on the actual sign to match the previously released logo:

Do you guys think it will be open by June 12th? Because I am taking my friend to USF that day and he only gets to go like once a year. I mean I don't care, because I can go whenever, but do you think it will be open by then, for him?

He is a HUGE Despicable Me fan! He knows just about every line from the movie and he would be pretty upset if it wasn't open then.

I believe that there is a VERY good chance that it will at least be in softs by June 12th.

Honestly, it may open even before that. It looks like most construction is done and considering employees have already been on, the ride is operational. I believe softs could start as early as June 1st.

Nervous about the "dance party" ending. i dont dance. it makes me uncomfortable. i dont even fake it. i dont like that part of the new blue man group show either. im sure this will be something we can just walk past at the end, ill stay to watch people the first time and to experience it though. other than that im super excited about this ride.

Here's the after ride area (dance party area?), saw a pretty wide opening and snapped a picture.

Good pics King_K. I looked through that crack a few days ago and only saw the white wall and thinking that nothing was actually built in there yet. Good to see I was wrong and that they are almost (if not completely) done with interior work. Which leads me to believe that this ride will be open before June 12th. And I wouldn't know why they would start testing the queve video 5 weeks in advanced. Can't wait for this to open.

I don't really know why Universal hasn't confirmed an opening date for this attraction yet. I'm sure it will be before June 12th at least hopefully softs, as someone else mentioned about them testing the ride queue system.

I'll take some more photos friday at the parks. Also got to look inside the new spongebob store. Looks great inside, but still under heavy construction. They were painting some new bamboo pillars.

See you guys are very lucky who can just pop down and visit the park. Whereas I doubt I will be able to get back to the park until well after WWOHP 2.0 expansion opens. So a good few years, which sucks quite frankly. Considering Despicable Me is one of mine/my fiance's favourite animated films I truly hope this is open by June.

i never understand why people are only able to go every 10 years. its almost 7 hours away from me and i go once a month.

A. People don't love the parks as much as you. B. Some have other financial priorities/responsibilities. C. Some people hate driving long distances... it bores them wave or hate flying because it scares them or because it is a stupid hassle or it is too expensive or all three.

Most don't have the time or the money. Every time I consider a quick jaunt down there, I add up the numbers in my head and just can't make it work anymore (even though a UOR AP is a great value). Gas, tickets, food, etc all add up.

i said able. reasons A and C are reasons not to go but can't stop anyone. B is a reason but its not that much money for two people to go, even poor people find money for cancer sticks and alcohol.
