Disney's Hollywood Adventure sounds so basic. Besides that Universal place has a park called Adventure Island or something. But seriously, Disney better throw in RIDES because that is what the people want! If you were to go there tomorrow and ask random visitors what they'd like to see, I guarantee they would say more rides! I'd love to see the Indiana Jones ride from Cali replicated here.

In a way, Indy has been replicated here. Besides the RV in Indy and DINOSAUR being the same, the ride layout and building structure are the exact same

They are VERY similar, but not totally 100% the same ride track. But still, does that matter in the end? I think the main problem is Disney doesn't want to spend money on an expensive ride system like that.

still amazes me that Disney broke the box and did duel level long before Universal got around to it.

That's a good example of why story, audio, music are so important to a ride. IJ is an A+ while Dino is a B or B- quality wise, but they are essentially the same ride mechanics.

Yes, the reason why Dinosaur isn't is as good as IJA is story, audio, and music. Not the massive sets, fully fleshed out areas, and functioning effects.

OK, so aside from massive fully fleshed out sets, working FX, story, audio, and music, Dinosaur! is practically the same ride.

Don't forget about lighting, very important (well if there is something to see on the ride, otherwise lights out).

Having ridden both numerous times, to this day I still see them as very different attractions, just using the same ride system. If Nemo can be at Epcot and Little Mermaid be IN THE SAME PARK as Haunted Mansion, I don't see why they can't clone Indy here.

For way to long Disney got away with a majority of their rides being one of like 3 or 4 types. They need to keep up the trend of moving away from that.

According to WDWNT, The Magic of Disney Animation will be closing soon.

And apparently, rumor is One Man's Dream is getting axe too.

This will be the attraction lineup at the end of the year/post Christmas:

Toy Story Mania
RNRC
Tower of Terror
Star Tours
The Great Movie Ride
Muppetvision (?)
For the First Time in Forever™: A Frozen™ Sing-a-Long Celebration™
Indiana Jones
Beauty and the Beast: Live on Stage
Voyage of the Little Mermaid
Disney Junior: Live on Stage
Fantasmic

Only 5 rides and 7 (potentially 6) shows. What a great value for $97!

The rumor is Bob Iger is at The Grand Flo and the BoD will be arriving Wed. for some high level budget approval meetings. This bodes well for WDW and DHS in particular, because the BoD doesn't show up at WDW during the peak Summer season unless big bucks are involved.

So I don't know if he left out Muppets on accident or if it's staying.
