Day 1 food recap:
Hooligan’s Grog and Gruel - I waited 20 minutes in line, and honestly…. Worth it for a first time snack. I got the Goldfish Mac n Cheese Cone and flagged my peanut allergy, and the team was extremely accommodating with all allergy requests. Definitely do not hesitate to flag any concerns with the food team! It was a really satisfying snack without feeling too calorie dense, and most importantly, it’s so easy to walk with a fork.
Pizza Moon: I got the Nanarossa for dinner. Coming from NY, this was a REALLY damn good pizza and better than Brick Oven. I will respectfully disagree with everyone who finds the stracciatella too overwhelming - to me, it felt like a fairly plusssed Neapolitan personal pie. For the price, it’s a great but not overwhelming meal.
Drinks - The Mudslide from CelesTiki was indeed REALLY good and REALLY strong. It kept me satisfied for a good chunk of the afternoon. The old fashioned from Bar Moonshine was a good old fashioned, but at nearly $20, it’s a bit steep for a standard (but zesty) bar cocktail. I really enjoyed the Daisyroot Drought at Le Goblet Noir, Reaper’s Ale at Burning Blade, and Gobber’s Mead in Berk; I would definitely get all three again.
