It was a cheap option that will bring in guests/move merch to replace a ride that was literally falling apart.

Cheap and to sell stuff. Sounds like a great move for a world class theme park. Embarrassing. However- Frozen ever after says hi.

I mean, they encouraged all photography and video when asked and there were no signs stating not to give thoughts, so I don’t mind with this one.

It just really feels thrown together. The animation is just painful. I felt like I was thrown into the middle of a Cruis’n arcade game. At one point Vin Diesel straight up looks twice as big as the helicopter he’s holding onto.

They thought they found the solution for Kong’s front row problem by making it clear, but it created two new problems: The driver is just not well executed and you can now see the track in front of you which disorients you since you can clearly see that you’re not actually moving now. They added a lot of crazy exhaust smelling fog to distract you from the screen.

I just genuinely didn’t hear a single positive comment from a TM exiting the ride. The queue is fun though.

Up until this, Fallon was my least favorite ride. This is less enjoyable in my opinion because it’s just so messy honestly.

What rows were you sitting in for both rides? Should we aim for 5-7 like in Kong?

I think the GP’s reaction to this will vary massively if they have been on Kong or not and possibly how they get to F&F.

If they go DM, Shrek, Fallon and then ride this. I think they’re going to be pissed.

Could you imagine if they did DM, Shrek and Fallon- grabbed a virtual queue for F&F and while they wait head over to Tranformers and then Springfield to ride? Dear lord...

Just my opinion, but it’s a USF thing. Not a UOR thing. If USF had two less screen rides and IoA had one more, it’d be a fine balance. IoA has the huge benefit of the 3 screen rides being so spread out- and two of which are hybrids. The DM/Shrek/Fallon threesome is, simply put, bad- as they’re all just simulators and side by side.
IoA could have another indoor screen based ride/hybrid and be just fine- in fact, the more indoor attractions over there the better.

IoA has too many outdoor water rides in my opinion. USF goes too far in the other direction, where every ride (seemingly) is an indoor screen ride.

All the rumours for the new park seem to indicate a much more balanced experience.

With USF and IOA next door, the inbalance isn’t so bad.

Ride 1: Car 1 - Row 1
Ride 2: Car 2- Row 4

The middle row was definitely preferred by my party, but there’s not any specific incentive like the animatronic for Kong. It’s just not as revealing. I did find that the far right and middle both reveal how the dance party effect works waaaaay too well. I saw it unintentionally both times. Maybe the left side conceals it more?

Well- the later rows sounds like they will certainly help with the 360 tunnel- simply because you wont be able to see the stationary track in front of you like you would in Row 1.

Anyone notice that the interior load area theming looks hokey/cartoonish when compared to the exterior and queue? I wonder why there is such an execution difference? I assume that two different companies did the work perhaps.

Sure, if they had the space, which they really don't back there.

I would not be surprised to see something like that in Park 3.

I think a Rock 'n' Roller Coaster type ride would've been awesome. And that looks like it would be able to fit in there pretty easily. Maybe too close to Mummy for it though. Probably my favorite ride at USF so it wouldn't bother me.

Xpress Platform 13 measures in at 53,500 sq ft total area. This F&F plot measures in at 112,400 sq ft total area. Rock 'n' Roller Coaster shows 76,600 sq feet with the queue/show building

Maybe this was intentional to act as a transition between the mostly animated screen sequences of the ride and the reality of the warehouse exterior and queue. I see what you mean though.

It's definitely a USF thing. That park is way too screen reliant. Having just visited again yesterday, I honestly felt like getting in, racing to ET, MIB, Diagon, and Mummy and leaving. The park is just such a jumbled mess...and Fast and Furious is just adding to that problem. I'm sure the general public will like the new ride okay, but the screen fatigue is definitely a real problem in this park.

Yeah, I was also surprised they didn't update the animation from the Hollywood version. I honestly think I enjoyed Jimmy Fallon more than this
