Personally, I'd like to see it become a Wicked ride, where you travel to the Emerald City and the party buses become the green trains.

Your New Years article on Touring Plans was right on target. And yes, this turkey of an attraction needs to disappear from the theme park world.

Because you would have 3 indoor coasters (and one rumored outdoor coaster) in succession. The park needs diversity.

Yes, too many coasters is like too many 3D screen rides. It's good to have a few, but not overdue it. Six Flags' almost all coasters formula, doesn't work, unless a park only wants a teenager/early twenty demographic. Diversity makes a stronger theme park.

too many coasters or too many 3D screen rides, I think I would prefer 3d rides coasters.

coasters are cool but cannot be enjoyed by everyone and even if you can ride it, makes you feel queasy.
3d rides could be lame but you can ride them as much as you want with the whole family.
( I know this is the opposite of Ghostbusters becoming a coaster in rip ride rock it)
but an earthquake screen rides with practical effects would be better here than a coaster.

My main guess right now is some sort of large scale dark ride will take over Supercharged when its time comes. Maybe even a whole new type of ride system not at Universal yet.

FWIW, a Luigi's mansion mini land with an omniover is rumored for a phase 2 of SNW. Timelines appear to be in flux with Universal putting a priority of USF, but it's happening.

I’m really surprised SLOP hasn’t been cloned over here yet for the studios park. Designs are already there. I’m sure they’d have a longer queue and longer ride.

Universal probably didn't want to clone SLOP to USF because the GSATs were not deemed high enough, plus the IP doesn't really seem to be active at the moment.

There was a rumor or two of SLOP coming to Orlando, but considering it pretty much vanished and we got Villan Con instead should tell you plenty on how much SLOP didn't make a splash in Hollywood.

And even if it was cloned, it wouldn't mean a longer ride. For the most part if anything gets changed up or extended it's the queue, but the ride essentially remains the same.

The Bad Guys fits a dark ride like SLOP just too perfectly. I’d be really disappointed if that never came to fruition, and I doubt it will.

Main issue is that its merchandise doesn't sell well.

I'd guess those things are related. Good movie! But did not gain any serious traction. I can't imagine it's on the table for a theme park attraction unless they produce a sequel that makes a lot more money.
