Exactly. It's not like F&F over in Hollywood got good reviews. It technically already IS Universal Creative's first bomb post-Potter.

And that is a part of the tram ride while this is an upgraded version. It's like comparing Reign of Kong to Kong 360, two completely different things once fully complete.

Right. All I'm saying is that there's some weight to the criticism if this upcoming attraction is closer than not to it's Hollywood counterpart.

If it is, yes, but no information has really been released saying it is.

Here's what we know:

Trams similar to Kong. the 360 scene will be a portion of the ride, but set in San Fran instead of LA. The building is comically large, possibly the biggest on property.

The last part tells me it'll be different enough

It's gotta be big, need to fit the Rock AA inside. They say it's bigger than Kong/s

I'm just glad the ride in that spot will still represent the Rock

I don't care if its not fast. There are exciting rides like Indiana jones, Fj, and Spiderman that don't necessarily go fast. I'm assuming they will make improvements after Hollywoods reviews. Universal….make Paul proud…

And for the love of god I want the black and red off road Charger somewhere in the queue.

I'd be truly disappointed if the steep hills of San Francisco weren't used.

I don't get it, could this be from cache? What happened to the sheet piling and excavation in the center?

Google was in Orlando 3-4 weeks ago updating imaging both on the ground and in the air. It takes them awhile to update it so these are obviously outdated by now.

Well, those rides don't actually have "fast" in their name ;)

Can't believe this is coming to Universal. I spent the weekend at the parks and they don't need another screen based ride.

To be fair, F&F can be two different types of rides. If your basing it before the events of Fast & Furious (2009), then i'd say the coaster concept lends itself extremely well..even being based off of three mediocre to bad films. But, if its based after the 2009 film; then I'd say that you'd have to start using a more..screen based element to the ride. F&F has now transcended itself from the racing aspect, to a pure popcorn action film, with high octane sequences that you just can't simply pull of practically.

F&F Supercharged is going to give you that screen-based element; much lore than what Kong will probably bring. But, when riding Supercharged in Hollywood; it gives me something that makes me excited for the major 360 portion in Orlandos. The sense of feeling like your going into a city with the wind effects. F&F Supercharged also seems to have much more space, with a comically large building. I'm excited to see how this differs to Hollywoods; as there could probably be a greater variety within practical effects and screen based effects, to make it a great D-Ticket level attraction.

With that large footprint they have to work with, they could've put it to better use. Universal needs more rides like E.T. With Fallon opening up in 2017, another screen based ride is ridiculous. Soon they should just give you the glasses at the park entrance and tell us to leave them on our faces.
