I don't see what your frustration here is. GA ticket holders are told that the event will start at 7PM for them. People who buy Early Entry have access to mazes from 5:30 to 7:00. The GA crowd did not buy early entry therefore, they won't get the benefits of those with early entry. Simple as that.
The issue I have is that technically, only four mazes are listed as Early Entry. So of course I get that I can't enter those mazes those until 7.
But that leaves many other mazes NOT listed as Early Entry, but often open before 7pm... and we're not allowed into those. For the first few years EE was a thing, they were letting GA into non-EE listed houses when they opened before 7. But it seems as of last year, they stopped this policy without making any sort of formal announcement.
It's fine, I guess... at least now they are consistent with the policy. But this is a change from many, many previous years, and even last year, some mazes would let us in, and some wouldn't, so the lack of communication was an issue. It's also frustrating that basically EE has now basically become essential to getting anything done. Not to mention seeing many GA people sneak into lines (sometimes unwittingly) just because it happened to be a moment the queue manager wasn't looking at their wristband.
And if they don't want to let in GA until 7, they need to have a systems so that GA can start lining up outside the maze before 7. Last night at Jason, the GA group was so large, it started blocking access for the EE people, who couldn't even get through... and when GA was finally let in at 7, it was a melee of people pushing en masse, to the point a woman actually got knocked down into a barricade, and people were nearly fighting. Telling 50+ people "please don't line up" before 7 is an inefficient system that clearly doesn't work.
The Witches show...I wish happened more or had times. I hear its every hour then one hour we went it was there and another it did not happen. Very cool show when you can see it
What's the Witches Show?
