I saw someone on online claiming Killer Clowns is taking over a house that IP fell through, any truth to this because its been rumored here for a longgggg time.

1) I liked Killer Clowns both times it was here, so I'm not upset. But sorry for those who didn't care for this one
2) I think its too early for people to say they are not excited for this year yet, we have soooo many things that need to be announced
3) I think last year, was HHN best year. To me is was just very well done and besides, poltergeist (even then I enjoyed the Graveyard part and Clown a alot) it was a near perfect year for me. The Terror Tram was Fantastic and had lots of fun themes, Art and FNAF for me were excellent and very different, Purge is for me an amazing show (yes yes I could use a new show but also....people don't complain about Disneyland fireworks being the same...a great show is a great show) and even Chainsaw man which I know was not everyone cup of tea, was a fun show and not only got me into the anime but also just the vibes were Halloween from the Pre show to the main show. So it was going to be hard to top last year for me

This is so HHN Hollywood. If this were Orlando they would whip up an original with what united resources they have. This is inexcusably lazy.

It could also be them reading the tea leaves, I'm not trying to be doom and Gloom, spring break seems to be fairy busy at USH but attendance per from what we are hearing USH went down a good deal of people last year and thats with HHN being packed last year.
So could also be them budgeting because they see the trend heading down this year still

1) Fast and Furious not being open until Summer meaning only 6 months will get a boost from the attraction
2) They have closed down the Hollywood and Dine for almost a month this year to save money, plus last Grinchmas they didn't open the Minion/SLOP until an hour after opening...I'm pretty sure even in 2024 they had busy days where all rides open at opening but further showing they are trying to save money
3) Fan Fest seems to still be trying to get people to come in for the second year and if that doesn't make as much money as last year it could lower the budget for other events
4) Most Haunt fans will come no matter what, we can talk about Florida but locally nothing beats HHN. Knotts is great but its only 1 or two new houses a year, so if people dislike bringing back old houses....yeah please point me to an event as big as HHN not doing that in some way.
5) Gas Prices and Travel are being affected by events right now and they are not sure if its worth it then year to invest in making a new house over reusing an old house. That for many people will be new or even people like my wife won't remember going on, so basically new for many people who go and aren't haunt fans

But last year feels like they pulled out all stops and this year has some things that will make fans happy but it will be hard to top last year..things just a lined up so well.

Trying to read the tea leaves based on earlier spec maps, the IP it was replacing was likely Scream, It, or Halloween. The first two I never really considered a realistic get, and the later would have been a likely repeat anyways, so I'm not too fussed. The speculated line up still feels crazy strong to me; not as good as last year, maybe, but light years ahead of the year before.

It was supposed to be Halloween: Legacy. Previous two years featured Leatherface and Michael Myers so it made sense. The Xmas Spec map featured a ghost w/ a knife. Replacing this w/ KKFOS makes it worse. For those going their first time, it’ll be great.

What makes this lazy to me is they could’ve tried an attempt to bring CIAC which is a brand new clown that brings fear to the event.

This is a post I saw, saying that Halloween Legacy was the original IP. I have zero idea how true it is, this is just what I saw

Imo lazy could have been just not having a house at all, I don't nessecarily see the reason for the huge uproar. Fan Fest lost the rights to an IP and now there just isnt anything in the UBE venue at all this year, it could be so much worse

We don't have the fulls story....so I didn't want to bring up Fan Fest because Jurassic seems like it could be what they replaced The Walking Dead attraction with. Right now the only thing for Fan Fest that isn't 100% confirmed to be replaced is the Live Music, the band from last year said it won't be back and I have seen no movement on a stage in the plaza sooooo not looking great there but who knows

Anyway back to HHN
