There's usually a "Doll Factory" house at King's Dominion in Virginia every year. Cut off Barbie heads on the walls, a room of mannequins and strobe lights, creepy children's music playing etc. It's always been one of my favorites. Super excited for this.

I'm starting to think that Orlando and Hollywood might have two different "freak out" properties this year. Ours being Alien/AVP and theirs being The Exorcist. Alien is basically a guarantee for us and Murdy has stated numerous times that Hollywood doesn't have the budget for it. Plus one of their code names fits with The Exorcist pretty well. So I'm guessing we're only sharing two IPs this year, TWD and DU.

Based on this, I have to guess we have an 'inspired by' house that we are currently listing as an IP (ex: Demon Cantina vs. From Dusk Til' Dawn). It is either that or the house lineup is in flux. What could have changed/may be changing?

Well, From Dusk Til Dawn was canceled VERY late in the game, to be replaced with this Thanksgiving-esque original... he could be referring to that, or something else, I don't know.

A&D already submitted the final layout for approval to the city, based on that property. Because they now have zero time to concoct an all-new layout, they have to shoehorn whatever original idea they can come up with into that fixed layout.

Same thing happened with Silent Hill replacing American Werewolf in London. Identical layouts because Silent Hill was so relatively last minute.

neeeeooooooooow! geeeez. It was meant as a creative metaphor and situational weathervane. The last sentence pulls it together. However, after I posted it, I noticed that lines 6, 7 and 8 contain a logical, yet ironic paradox. There are two black cats after all.
