Just including last year's house lineup, Circus wasn't the best imo. Death Water Bayou, however, is imo one of the best they've done from an overall immersion and scare perspective. The set pieces and facade was all HHN-quality.

Thanks for the heads-up! Link: http://www.halloweenhorrornights.com/orlando/rip-tours.html

Since I do Frequent Fear and go on several nights, I don't really even consider the RIP tours, but I have been itching to do another Unmasking The Horror Tour... I see they're doing the same as last year with two tours of 3 houses each. I hope the prices are less expensive than last year, or at least the same. This year I'm not gonna be around for the whole event due to a family trip, so I really wanna get my HHN fix, and Unmasking The Horror would be a great way to fill that void.

The prices for all the other tickets are the same as last year right? I do remember my guide saying the tours were getting way bigger every year. I could see the single sessions going up to $74.99 and the dual tour going up to $119.99.

I don't think (hope not anyway) they would do a $20 increase in one year, If they did I would have a hard decision to make. I like being able to take pictures on the tour but not stuffing Unis pockets any further.

I think it probably depends on the demand they had last year. If they were booked solid, then I could see that type of an increase. Stinks, but they are going to maximize their revenues and find the sweet spot people are willing to pay. If they were booked solid, it would be nice if they increase the guides to accommodate more people and just keep the prices the same.

If they hire extra guides, they'll definitely raise prices. It's more mouths to feed so to speak.
They could also raise the prices to dampen demand and keep the number of guides the same.

Not if they were turning people away because they had more requests than the slotted guides could handle. But I dont know if that was actually the case or not.

From what I can tell, expect more "Van Helsing" than "Bram Stroker's Dracula."

Doesn't mean the house can't be good. Good house & scare design can trump iffy source material.

Case and point the thing remake, I'm just not happy nobody is going to know what the hell the house is about until the event is halfway over. So it'll be more of a action movie? Strange but I'll probably watch it. Let's hope Dracula isn't handsome

yeah, Universal doesn't care about the people they only care about profit, they will do whatever it takes to squeeze the most money out of everyone. We should expect a raise in price for everything.
and we should be okay with it. They see us as nothing more than walking money bags, right?
Case in point, the walking dead.

Let us not get carried away. They know they must put out a world class product or the people will not come. If the people don't come, then they would make no money. So, of course they care about "the people". They also want to wring as much money out of them as possible. That's good business.
