Does he have bad blood with Hollywood like Netflix?

Apparently, he grew sick and tired of Murdy showboating his ego on Twitter regarding the Blumhouse collabs while presenting haunts of nearly all black walls and very little quality

Alright, with all of this, allow me to bring forth a possible story:

• Orlando is completely fine because we have a good relationship with Blum.
  
  
• Drama goes on in Hollywood that leads to Candyman being cut. They go to Blumhouse asking if they can do the house as well to replace it, Jason isn't too thrilled with the idea because of Murdy.
  
  
• Legacy said we should have clarity on what is and what could not be this week- Because Blumhouse is getting announced for Orlando tomorrow, and if it isn't announced for Hollywood too, then we know the deal didn't go through, and now Hollywood has a problem.

I think it was fine, but people on here hyped the house up so much it had no way to live up to expectations. EVERYTHING about the house was just wildly hyped, from having real working rides to somehow posting a hind in the final night for the next years event?

Guessing that's one that benefitted if you did the UTH tour (character profiles). But yes, that it was mostly forgotten after the event makes me wince because it was far and away most anticipated on here. It would've been better off just being a junkyard theme to avoid people thinking there would be actual carnival rides. My main reason for being disappointed with it, though, was that I thought it would feel much more open than it did. I hope they take another stab at such a house.

Which would cause Universal to go back to the negotiating table with Netflix.

End result = a last minute scare zone to lead into a house next year.

A pop up store wouldn't effect Horror Night's line up in any way

If anywhere nearby was getting a ST pop-up experience, there would likely be a non-compete clause in place to prevent ST from also appearing at something like HHN. I-Drive (or whoever houses the pop-up) wouldn't want to dilute the value of their experience by letting it be offered down the road at the same time.

Honestly, IF a ST pop-up store came to I-Drive and HHN was doing a house, neither would affect the other. I literally just did the ST pop-up on Saturday here in Chicago. While it was cute and all - some nice little photo-ops, and the ST logo on pretty much everything from cereal to shirts to Pez, it was kind of a let down. The scenic and detail that were in the HHN houses was much more exciting. This was really a glorified cash grab - a lot of hype and a lot of over-priced merch. If anything, having the two close to each other would probably be more of a benefit to each.
