So something that I’ve noticed hasn’t really been discussed yet is the lack of IPs featured in the scarezones. Should we view this as a concentrating sign that HHN is losing some of it’s luster with other companies and perhaps even Universal Pictures? In 2019 there were six houses based on IPs and two scarezone for a total of eight IPs that year. This year there are only three IPs features at the event. Don’t get me wrong, I love originals just as much as every other Horror Nights fan, but I feel as if IPs are important for the financial state of the event, as well as its status as the country’s premier Halloween event. I’d hate to see it become a smaller event with a smaller budget, and am worried this is a concerning sign.
