could a return of the Mels die in stage help with capacity?

Because of the stage's location, I don't think it would help as it would cause a bottleneck, especially into Central Park and the Lagoon Show area.

I hear most rumors. I hear a lot of garbage spec too. That said, I haven’t heard enough either way to really discern a ratio.

WE'RE HERE!!!!

The Wyatt Six apart of HHN would be CRAZY. Would especially have my eyes drawn if they brought in some of their other more "dark" names, especially since a certain one just got her belt back last Monday....

I assume it's a dead horse but I don't keep much tabs on HHN rumors, but no Five Moons at Freddy Bear's and his Italian Cuisine this year?

So rumors thus far

The Last of Us 2
Terrifier
Wyatt Sicks

This is already a much more popular IP line up than 2024. They really seem to have taken criticism seriously.

15 houses? maybe universal can build houses on top of each other lol. extra houses on a second floor, build a little escalator for people to go up.

seeing how we are running out of movies to adapt, imagine if the same year had sequel houses from the same franchise lol.
1 house for nightmare on elm Street and then a separate house for nightmare on elm Street 2 and 3. or 1 house for terrifier and a separate house for terrifier 2

I would like them to pick a year and use horror movies from that year for their IPs and theme for the park. For example use the year 1984 and have a gremlins, Nightmare on Elm Street, Children of the Corn house (ok maybe not that one cuz that will summon the hurricane).

I know this would be very unrealistic and this kinda falls into Wishful Thinking territory, but I would love a 90's/early 00's year with Buffy, Scream, Thirteen Ghosts, Supernatural....and if they really want to go all out, they can do the House on Haunting Hill but have the house start off at the Hulk coaster. Nothing scarier than having a roller coaster shoot off the rails by removing a piece of track lol

Again, I understand that would be a nightmare dealing with rights, especially since most I just listed are "dead" properties....but a Thirteen Ghosts house would slap.

that's actually a great idea. marketing could even use the year for shirts and merch. HHN 1984

the zones could be original but retro. I'm being serious, that idea is really great. ( just even bring back vamp 1985.
I was half joking that we need sequel houses in the same year ( since so many movie franchises can't be used. )
but imagine a hhn year based on an entire decade. HHN 1980s. and every ip house and zone is 1980s. ( with originals too)

someone could say that younger people wouldn't like it, but stranger things prove that people love the 80s. Ghostbusters as well.
your idea made my imagination go wild. imagine the park music being all 80s. now I'm sad it's never been done.

it would be so amazing

thirteen ghosts is literally Tailor made for hhn. it's the one property that fits the most perfectly for hhn. every single character. every part of the house, that movie feels like a ride.

Two of them are terrible tbh. But that’s just me lol.

The IP houses last year had some pretty crazy wait times, so I don’t think Universal cares about the criticism.

Said criticism stemmed from folks wanting certain IPs and straight up expecting them because of “rumors” and internet hype.

Don't lie to yourself, you're definitely going to do the Terrifier house if it comes. Just because you hate the IP doesn't mean it will be a bad house, don't be dramatic lol.

I've skipped houses in the past. there's been houses early on I did only once or twice that I could have skipped, but I don't think I ever did bloody Mary. i skipped a house in 2006.

if the sets were amazing I could try to do terrifier just because of the sets alone, but those movies don't have great sets or anything. the clown is very very ugly, and I don't care about the gore,
I really do not wanna see that clown up close lol.

Smile is another one I think I would skip it if comes unless it's got great sets. the movie didn't have anything amazing

To be absolutely fair, I know some folks who have skipped out on houses because they feature things or a lot of things which they personally don't like. Case in point, last year my Dad only went through Major Sweet's Candy Factory once because the smell of sweet things can make him nauseous. I also know folks on the West Coast who didn't go through Widows at Scary Farm because they truly hate spiders. For me, these are valid reasons for not going through a particular house.

And when it comes to the Terrifier series, there can be a multitude of things which people personally don't like, and I'm not gonna' knock them for skipping the house because of it.

I just think it's silly to act this way based off a RUMORED house. If you want to skip it when it comes then sure I understand, valid. But it's just a rumor and saying it's an "automatic fully skip" already is a bit dramatic imo

yeah I was thinking about the houses I only did a couple times.
I did Us like twice only and the second time it was because my friend wanted to do it. I didn't feel like doing it more than once. and to be honest I could have skipped it.

I also only did the latest exorcist house 2 or 3 times but 2 of those times was looking at the floor and covering my face, I didn't look up. I don't remember anything, ( I just didn't like the demon masks, they were freaky) I could have skipped it lol.

Funnily enough, I remember feeling that one of the biggest improvements from the 1st Terrifier film (which I was not a fan of) to the 2nd & 3rd was the set design.

Yeah, as I've said before the series does nothing for me. And I can see it being a gore house, which is a type of house that doesn't really thrill me either. Hence why I said if this house actually happens, it'll be an easy auto lock to the bottom of my anticipated list.

As some have stated already, full props to Universal if Terrifier does end up coming, as it is a much more intense and visceral property even for HHN standards. Should (key word: SHOULD) definitively put down any talks or complaints that the event's becoming family-friendly as well.

If... terrifier comes to hhn, I am sure that most people will be entertained by art the clown. I'm sure it might even become a local meme ( people joking about seeing the house, the actors in the house will play the role really playful maybe)
outside of the violence or gore that the house might have, the meme playful aspect of the house is gonna be really high, ( the problem will become when random regular people check the movies lol)
I know that art the clown will become a mini icon for the event.
