why would we use the back of the building?

Permits are not submitted or published until a build design is complete. The soundstages are typically built last, and we have seen permits arrive as late as March. In 2023, the first permits dropped on 11 Jan and the last permits dropped in mid February.

So, no, nothing tells us they’re done with permits. This is especially true with the “A/B” aspect that spoken about ad naseum already.

DreamWorks Land can't have queues and portals, so the back of the building (closest to where there are queues and portals set up), would work better logistically. Also, please try to prevent double-posting. You can reply to multiple people using the +quote button in the bottom right of a comment.

got it. they could hypothetically use ETs queue as a enterance and exit. like they did before dreamworks land

i genuinly think they can use dreamworks land as a queue for a hypothetical parade warehouse house. you can just cover up the sign for the house until hhn

I am under the impression DreamWorks is similar to the main street in Minion Land, where Universal is trying to keep HHN-related decor out of it (which is why the front zone was moved).

I don't really agree with you that that's the case, but idk. It's just hard to say because DreamWorks came after we lost the parade buildings last year so who knows.

To route guests backstage for a house in let's say either of the Parade Buildings or perhaps a brand-new location AND if there's actually a problem with placing house portals and queues in DreamWorks, all Universal has to do is place the house portal next to ET's Toy Closet and route guests through ET's outdoor queue. Just like they've done in the past. Nothing would be in DreamWorks in this scenario.

As for utilizing the back half of B108, if space is available, I could maybe see them doing what I laid out above. Though the walking distance would be absolutely B R U T A L . Even worse if the exit is the same as the new Sprungs.

There's no way to add a third portal over by the new Sprungs without causing crowding issues and service road shutdowns.

i think having a portal in the dreamworks "area" will be a benefit in terms of having a house closer to the enterance of the park.

the path to get to the new tents is already brutal with people going in and out the same way. adding a 3rd attraction with be a extremely dumb idea

btw we are getting more lil boo merch

I would seriously enjoy a Little Shop of Horrors house. Love the movie from the 1980s . At some point I will watch the 1960 version with Jack Nicholson.

Not surprisingly, the Parade Warehouses are still being used for their intended purpose, storing all those parade floats. I honestly don't think HHN would be using soundstage 25 if they were able to use the parade warehouses, as they would make an easy #11 and #12.

But since they are using 25 instead, one has to look elsewhere for a possible 12th house. I don't doubt it's going to be a cluster in the front with the soundstages, but at the same time it's a cluster of tents on the opposite side with F&F in the middle. Put a couple big IP's in soundstages, and a couple in the tents (whichever size may work for them).

Something which could possibly help is the return of the lagoon show, as there's something for that side of the lagoon.

thing is. they have used the parade buildings alongside SS25. but i do get your point. there does need to be more reasons for the GP to go to BoH instead of going straight

Same way the Thunderfalls Terrace restaurant in Jurassic worked for a house location in 2002, 2003 & 2005.

They had to get creative with the house layout just like when they used untraditional locations: Popeye queue (2002/2003) & first floor of the Jurassic Discovery Center (2003/2005).

I doubt they'll use La Bamba as a location. It's possible, but not likely.

What about the old location between MIB and Fear Factor Stage. Correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't that a location in HHN 30 (sCarey House). What would be the issue with bringing a house back at this location?

There are some infrastructure issues that have to be addressed before they can use that spot again.

I could be wrong - but didn't someone say last year that the new tents are large enough for more than 1 house?

Unrelated to most of the current discussions right now re:house locations, but Blumhouse's Wolf Man film reactions have been coming out and they're all really good! It bums me out because of the whole character M&G and how Universal messed that up. I would love for it to become a house still whether it's this year or next. Hopefully they can patch things up with Leigh Whannell... especially if this movie ends up being a box office success as well.

one thing they will have to change is where the RIP tour buffet is :lmao:

ive been thinking about it. if they use La Bamba they can use the parade float exit as a queue
