After I did the UTH tour and saw the sets more in-depth, my appreciation definitely grew for it. Not as good as the OG but still a really solid and detailed house that was really fun. That ending animatronic was AWFUL tho.

While I agree the ending figure of La Muerte wasn't good, for me it was quickly offset by the La Muerte stilt-walker who destroyed me. (The El Silbon stilt walker was often great as well for me.)

I know I am in the minority but Monstrous in Orlando did not hit nearly as good as its original counterpart.
I will not be upset if we don't get the sequel in Orlando.

I only saw the video of the house but I kinda didn't like the characters that the house had. they weren't that cool looking or that interesting. I hate to say it but latin America has better creatures to use ( feels like the ones used in monstrous were used because of how easy they could be dressed and used in the house)

I been yearning something hard for an alien abduction style house a la Roswell, NM meets X-Files meets Mars Attacks style schlock.

When we had rumors of a black and white house that takes place on a farm last year i had to check myself

I'd like to see Monstruos 2 come to Orlando. With likely an expanded house lineup, I have to imagine we'll see 1 or 2 original sequels.

I'd rather see an El Cucuy house in one of the OG Sprung Tents.

I've been meaning to write a treatment for a 1950s Aliens/Invasion-style house. I've got some great ideas for one.

So I’m pretty much over the Universal Monsters houses for awhile. While most have been decent to good I not excited for them at this point. My guess is we could see Wolfman since it’s also Blumhouse related but I think I might only be interested in Creature FTBL if they are going to do another. Maybe even in 3D.

One thing I will say the Mr Hyde guy from 2yrs ago was freaky. If they could do something with him…. I felt like he personally threatened my life.

Our Hollywood Brethren, feel free to correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't the El Cucuy section in Monstrous 2 last year just a carbon copy of the El Cucuy maze in 2013 minus the opening theatre, backstage, alley and fence-way of missing kid poster scenes? (Oh, and with the updated El Cucuy design of course.) Not that I'd be against an Orlando version of an El Cucuy standalone house.

I'm still over here hoping against all hope for an eventual Frankenstein Meets The Wolf Man house.

No, but thanks for the heads up. I liked the first game haven’t played the second. I also see the director is the same one who did Lights out and Annabelle creation, both of which I love. I believe he was discover by either James Wan or Blumhouse having a short film contest. Anyway, can’t wait.

I think it looks great, definitely looks like it has enough material to warrant an HHN house imo.

that game is so amazing, and literally feels like a hhn house already. you can even use some of the same sets from the yeti house.

Getting back to actual spec… I know sometimes the coasts borrow houses from each other. We had Monstrous last year. They had Dead Exposure. So what Hollywood houses could we possibly see? If I remember right, Pandora’s Box was a rumor a few years ago. I would love to see a Holidayz in Hell type of house. What are others we could use?

Holidayz in Hell would be great to see how Orlando adapts the ideas and concepts Murdy did. I'd also say El Cucuy straight up. Not even a Monstruos 2, I'd like to see the original take from Orlando on how the Boogeyman is done.

Put el cucuy in tent 1. Take a lot of elements but make it your own. Make the actors get up super close.
