Not a problem, its not all that different found the sound scares where a SA triggers a loud sound on your right hand side to get someones attention and they come in and get them from the left or in front.

As a former Thing house cast member, I can say that, with the exception of some slight movement from the gigantic Thing creature at the end, every creature was a puppet controlled by a scareactor. No AA's.

Does anyone else think that the lantern will be at the front of the facade in the reunion house?

Oh ok, so yea a really simple AA, and I also remember a mouth/claw thing that would pop out of the wall at people too, don't know if that was human or computer controlled.

Also human controlled. Basically, every creature was manipulated by a puppeteer dressed in all black.

I think it might be the thing hung from the USF entrance.

So more AA's so that they can more people where they need them. To me thats smart. But, I still believe the mega house rumor and maybe they spread the scareactors out more in the house. Like 2 to 4 a room.

It'll be the big screen TV again, they had bought it for a reason, so they will use it every year. I'm interested to see what they do for the entrance of the park though.

Hopefully it will out do The Reflections of Fear entrance, because IMO that was the freakiest entrance to date! 17 had a great entrance, but it wasn't scary.

The best themed entrance was 17 with the truck and the carnival wheel in the arch, it was fantastic. 18 from what I saw was ONLY the video screen, but I didn't go that year. Last year, the concept was good but it felt lacking.

HHN 17 was the first one I picked up on in life. Seeing the Freddy house, the Texas Chainsaw Massacre house, the Camp Crystal Lake walkthrough, the THING walkthrough...oh good times. Ever since then I've been planning to go...hopefully next year for XXI.

HHN 17 was a great year though. Anyone here go through THING because the THING Assimilation looked absolutely amazing?

Yea probably one of the best houses ever IMHO, and fellow OU member reilysclone was a SA in that house too.

That house scared me more than any other house has in a while, well since the original Die IN.

Is anyone else hoping they have an arrival show this year? Is there any information about it yet?

No details just yet, but with a brand spanking new stage that was not used last year, all signs point to an Arrival show this year.

All we have is that they where hiring regular actors / actress for something (most likely and an arrival show). Here is the post on Universal's aditions site:

My favorite house. EVER. (I've only been going for 3 years, though.)

Seriously. Amazing. I hope we get a sequel eventually. I was ridiculously disappointed with the one scene of the Thing in Silver Screams last year. It was so lame.

Have been every year since since 12 and the Thing Assimilation was amazing. It was the total package you really felt as if you had been thrown into the story. The cast was great easily the best cast of any HHN house ever. Without them that house wouldn't of been nearly as good. Its in my top 3 houses of all time.

Personally, I thought Assimiliation was a good house, but I really can't rank it in my Top 5 as I really did not like the house. My top 5 are:

1. Scream House: Resurrection (16)
2. Dead Silence (17)
3. Reflections of Fear (18) (YES! I said it.)
4. Body Collectors (18)
5. Silver Screams (19)

Dead Silence might be one of the most overlooked houses ever. And just to share, top five.

1.All Nite Die In (13)
2.Castle Vampyr (14)
3.Thing Assimilation (17)
4.Dracula Legacy in Blood (19)
5.PsychoScareapy (13)
