I know the feeling, and then it is waiting a year again, and next season (I heard) is only 7 episodes.

It's a theme park on television. :)

Ever since I started watching, I've noticed so any references to it as well which have went way over my head before. My barber also looks like Khal Drogo.

Counting blessings:
On the other hand, when Cersi's monster man ripped the head off one of those priesty boys and the wimpy expressions on the other priestie's faces, it was priceless. :)

I am curious how close the next book will be to the series, since the series is ahead of the books now.

I just saw Emillia Clark on an old May issue of the Seth Myers show. Absolutely charming and totally disarming with laughter. Gotta love the dichotomy.

Kit Harrington was great on "this morning" the other day.
He revealed that he auditioned in an "RP" accent, as did the rest of the main cast, and Sean Bean was asked if he could do an "RP" accent to which he replied "Nor" and the director said to everybody else " you're doing it northern" lol

RP is Received Pronunciation.
It's basically a "neutral" British accent as opposed to a regional accent. It's what most people here would describe as a "posh" accent

Battle of the Bastards has got me more amped with anticipation than the season premiere.

Episode 9 tends to be the best of the season.

That is so funny because just yesterday I was watching the apparently Brit guy that was speaking for the olympics banning the Russian team and his pronunciation was SO proper it was ridiculous; stupid even. He sounded like the Queen.

Lol I didn't see the report you mention but I'd guess that the man in question was Lord Sebastian Coe.

Ok, I am watching the last episode for the ninth time... and it just hit me that if you want to know how I talk in the real world, all the swearing and crude words, that is how I talk. I am not racist but I am a culturalist. I will make fun of anything if it seems way off center. That includes myself.

Wow, you know it is GoT's day when, as I left the grocery store I utter under my breath, "Meow meow King Friday" and before I got home had to utter, "what a Princess!"...
