That line up sounds pretty trash though. AVP again and TWD for the 4th time? Whatever though they got Halloween and crimson peaks, they're in for some real treats with thoss

We've already had Halloween though. I wish we were getting Krampus. I'm sure we will get Trick r Treat 2 though when it's released. Super stoked for Crimson Peak and This is the End!

Sorry for the doublepost but Murdy confirmed its an All-IP lineup this year. He said its just how it worked out.

Both of our line-ups are the same (minus your location for CP ), so yea they're both correct .....for now haha

Murdy did confirm that the "time sensitivity" aspect ONLY applied to "Crimson Peak".... sooo that pretty much indirectly confirms "Halloween" & "This Is The End". I still wish we were getting "Krampus" though...

The one thing that doesn't seem to match up with Murdy's tweets is "The Purge" being the Terror Tram this year. I only say that because Murdy mentioned the filming he was doing for it involved "Lots of blood", "Practical effects" & "Practical make-up effects". Honestly.. that sounds more like "Ash vs Evil Dead" or something else entirely instead of "The Purge"... I guess I would've rather seen a Purge Terror Tram next year rather than this year. meh

Well, with all due respect, the Purge is their own property. They can do whatever they want with it. But I would love for it to be Ash Vs. Evil Dead.

While I have been meaning to watch "Purge: Anarchy" again (might do it tonight..... if "This Is The End" isn't on Netflix or On Demand  -_- haha), I don't remember it involving "lots of blood" and that's what is throwing me off I guess. I'm sure "practical makeup effects" are most likely referring to "wounds" rather than "monster makeup", so I guess it fits the Purge. ...blah..

That's another thing that bothers me. He make such a big deal about time sensitivity yet this year, he chucks that rule out the window. I just see it as an excuse.

Orlando was supposed to have a house announcement recently. but weren't able to due to reasons...

Murdy said on twitter yesterday that if things go according to plan, we should get a maze announcement this week...

So what I have to wonder is... will we see a shared IP announcement (Insidious, TWD) or will it be exclusive to Hollywood? (Halloween, AVP, This is the End)

John has stated that Postpunk will be the next announcement, so yea. Its going to be shared if it is what is rumored to be and that's Insidious.

Yes to all of that! Trick-r-Treat definitely due to the sequel. Hopefully we hear more about that once Krampus is near its release date.

What annoys me the most about Krampus though is that Dark Xmas was so well received last year, so you'd think that Krampus would've been a no brainer for this year. Especially if we could've had a Dark Xmas 2.0 SZ next to the maze for a nice double experience.

While we really SHOULDN'T even be concerned with next year's event yet, if this is actually Murdy's last year, I'm just wondering how will that affect the possibility of us getting any of those 3 IPs? Because honestly, with the exception of "TrT", we should've had Krampus/Ash this year.

Oh yea.. and if this is Murdy's last year, I'm actually kind of disappointed we're not getting a 3rd (and final) Alice Cooper maze (Alice Cooper in Wonderland!? lol). While I went through Orlando's house roughly 30-40 times (don't give me that look, I knew scareactors in there lol), the house was poorly executed. So I would've liked to experience an AC maze here. I know all of you are all like "Nooooooo... shhhh not another one"

Funny you mention that, there actually was an idea along those lines for a maze of sorts like that. Of course, plans fell through.

Okay... soooooo.... this crossed my mind tonight and it is highly amusing for all of the wrong reasons. Just because we more or less know the line-up, doesn't mean we don't have something to speculate upon and/or discuss. In this case, I'm referring to "Halloween".

HHN 2009 - "Halloween: The Life & Crimes of Michael Myers"

Well.. that house pretty much was mainly the first movie & from the video(s) had a brief hospital scene from the 2nd (hard to tell). I really wouldn't be surprised if Murdy went with the Rob Zombie Halloween films this time around due to Zombie's long history with HHN Hollywood (dating back to 1999), however I would hope this isn't the route they go. Not a fan. Anyway, Universal owns Halloween II ....AND they also own "Halloween III: Season of the Witch". Now wouldn't it be a total carny trick if the Halloween maze for this year ended up being based on the 3rd movie!?

Still upset that 'This is the End' was considered better for a maze then a Jurassic World maze.

Looking forward to everything but TWD and AVP. I mean their AVP was good last year, but I don't need to see it again. This Is The End is interesting if it will really happen. Insidious in 2013 was one of the best houses I've ever been in on either coast so I'm fine with that coming back.

Sucks the Terror Tram couldn't have been something better than the Purge tho, cause I'm sure the entry scarezone will be Purge again.
