HHN Hollywood Speculation/News - 2015

With TWD being in HHN for 4 years in a row, AVP coming back to Hollywood and AWIL coming back to Orlando I hope a trend of houses coming back isn't going to increase. Don't get me wrong, seeing some things again sounds cool but HHN's originality is what makes it special to me, I don't want to see the same houses over and over.

I wouldn't be too concerned, Hollywood is notorious for repeating houses. Orlando hasn't repeated a house in a while until this year.

Rumored now: Jurassic World scarezone in the lower lot and Jabberwockeez dance troupe (leaving the Luxor in Vegas very soon) in the Castle Theater.

Well, I'm excited about one of those of true...

Jabber is leaving Luxor but going to another hotel in LV (forget which one exactly). This will be a new show, if true.

Always curious when someone so adamant, so certain is mistaken. I predict Universal will make their official announcement on Monday (3rd)

I'm a big B&T fan. Very disappointed they will never return. Not looking forward to this dance troop. But at least there's a show.

I seem to remember a "freak show" in what is now the Shrek theater. I'm thinking '98. I'd like to see something like that.

If idiots want to clog the (I'm presuming) Castle Theater to watch this trash, at least it's helping out capacity. Hopefully they'll announce Fast and Furious Express but at this point I doubt it. Just get people off the damn streets.

Sad to lose B&T but Murdy doesn't give a poop. He's one of those Creative people who are staunchly anti-shows. I get that people like rides but what some don't quite understand is that you advertise rides, but you NEED shows. They are essential to the theme park experience. Shows soak up people, pure and simple. They can easily plan around them because there is a specific time and they rarely fill up early, so it's not too much of a concern. Less waiting plus (often) A/C plus lengthy entertainment... as long as guests like it, that's a huge win.

Maybe guests will like Jabbawockeez, clearly we're not exactly the target demographic... I'll be in Orlando watching Bill and Ted but at least USH has something. SOMETHING

^ I've heard that there will be a Fast and Furious Express tram. Still not too sure on whether it's happening or not however.

Im kind of hoping The Purge TT will be similar to the years before where there were multiple properties on the tram while a main property as an encompasing theme.

But they did do a Kong express back in 2010 when that Tram Animation first opened. F&F express trams wouldn't be entirely out of the question.

Yea, I'd say to almost expect F&F express tram.. It is a NEW attraction & it adds to the "attraction" list of things to do for guests.

And how would it not make sense? It is a 3D sorta-simulator attraction. It doesn't require the rest of the studio tour. The on-board "pre-show" videos that play during the tour can be shown on the way to the attraction because they aren't very long. You don't actually need to see Dom's car in order for them to say it has been spotted on the backlot.

*51st anniversary .....at least the merchandise department knows it opened in 1964..

They have plenty of trams. Think about it. The studio tour takes roughly an hour. This is not an accurate tram count, but not the point... They have a fleet of trams, so lets say there are 12 trams in the fleet. That means they can use 6 for Terror Tram, 2 for express tram to backlot, & 4 for F&F... Point is, they don't have an issue with "tram shortage"

Fast and Furious is located close to the War of the World sets. They can just add it to the end of the Terror Tram route if they wanted to. Not that big of a deal.

Hollywood isn't technically losing a house though...the seventh house was House of Horrors which was open year round...they basically added more actors and some different costumes with blaring EDM and called it a day, and it sucked. So do I consider it a switch-off that they're having this show instead of a 7th house somewhere else? Not at all. Would've liked one though but I've seen a few people speculate it was one or the other which is nonsense.

^I was going to suggest the same thing about the Terror Tram...

In regards to the Jabbawockeez, while that Instagram post may have been removed, there is still their Official FB page post from 3 days ago. Universal is hashtagged, BUT it isn't as blatantly obvious about them being at HHN. So for all anyone knows, they could be making an appearance in citywalk.

^Bill and Ted is NOT coming back at this point. Its either this or no show. As much as I hate this idea, I'd rather have a show to take people off the streets.
