HHN Hollywood Speculation/News - 2016

Just to throw it out there:


- "Black Sabbath 13" walls have appeared outside of the tent in the fdtd area on "HHNFanboy"s instagram account.


- Brick painting has started on the Metro Sets Facade.


- Murdy stated in a tweet to "Inside Universal" saying "hmmm...I was just inside that maze today with a certain someone associated with the property...hmmm..."


- No Snapchat or Facebook hints (yet) but people have been getting a notification for "Horror Nights" post and turning it to be nothing so it could be a glitch or a actually post!


So in conclusion keep a eye out for this next couple of days. I thinking our accouncement will be "Freddy Vs Jason" and will be announced Thursday or Friday.

Personally, I honestly believe that AHS will be the next one announced; but that's just me.

Some people on the instagram account, and I think I've seen on a few construction videos, are convinced the metro set maze is not Krampus. They keep saying how the middle second-floor window isn't oval shaped and the pipe chimney is not in the original Krampus house design. That and some guy on HHNFanboy's twitter pic of the facade said Murdy said it wasn't Krampus. Honestly I'm getting a little confused.

House in the movie has the rectangular window, the one on the poster has it as an oval. 


John has never at any point said that that maze is not Krampus

AHS was the first thing that came to my head. That specific archway reminded me of the architecture found in the Murder House.

yes I know it was set for outside of 747 ...but still possible

FVJ is outside 747 and the photo shows where AHS is so its not for FVJ


How does that even fit in with Friday the 13th besides the number 13?

AHS was the first thing that came to my head. That specific archway reminded me of the architecture found in the Murder House.

The Murder House doesn't really have any archways like that, at least that I remember. Briarcliff Manor (the asylum from Season 2), does though. The building they used for exteriors in Santa Ana is very much Romanesque Revival. Lots of arches in the windows and doorways.

This looks nothing like the AHS murder house, there's a whole protruding section of the murder house. It lookes more like Krampus than AHS.

We're talking about the 13 archway spotted outside of the venue where it is assumed that AHS is going. 


The facade with brickwork is the Krampus facade

The brickwork on the façade rumored to be Krampus is seeming to be wrapping up.


Also, it seems unlikely that there will be any announcements at SDCC for Horror Nights..so that limits the playing field.


And, Terror Tram will be shooting video over the course of next week.

- Murdy has confirmed that construction for a maze is in the Waterworld Queue


- A film shoot is locked for next week for the terror tram


- Tomorrow Murdy is heading to work on HHN Maze Audio


- Someone asked Murdy when the terror tram will be announced and this next maze and he replied saying "Soon on maze...I hope. Terror Tram will be Aug". So the terror tram theme will be announced in August.


- No Snapchat or Facebook Hints (yet)


So yeah a lot is going on at the moment. I am hoping that this announcement will be announced soon... And not even be pushed back more.

He's just saying that because he flat out can't say we're doing it.


i don't know what's taking so long on the FvJ announcement, it was featured at Orlando last year and this is an old property, I'm not sure why they haven't gotten the green light

He also mentioned the first sculpt being approved for a scarezone.. And hints that the theme coincides with something that is happening this week.

I guessing that a scare zone announcement is going to announced along with "Doris Day" (Freddy Vs Jason). And that the scare zone is the rumored "Universal Monsters" Scare Zone because it would rather be a surprise to go along with the "doris day" announcement.

So with the Freddy vs. Jason maze, it's safe to assume that since the movie itself had a sort of limited kill count, and just like how Orlando did so, the maze might incorporate Nightmare sequences and Crystal Lake kills from the other movies in the franchises that weren't used in the 2007-2008 Nightmare On Elm Street and Friday the 13th mazes?
