I actually think Oz would be a great expansion for Epic Universe. It’s possibly one of the most famous universes in film and I think being able to walk through a portal into it would be really cool.

Oz and LOTR would be excellent additions to EU as those are both franchises that require complete immersion (or at least something close) that a land which can only be accessed through a portal would bring.

In an ideal world, I think USF should become to park for legacy as well as urban-centric properties, IOA should be the park for the action/adventure properties, and EU should be the park for hyper-immersive properties that require their own ‘universe’

You are also correct! It would be amazing in Epic! I can definitely see this!

Interesting, but probably not consequential, looking up that parcel number, thats for the main USF park. However, RRR straddles 3 different parcels. Idk that it would need a NOC for all 3 parcels though.

All that being said, it just seems early for a NOC for a project starting in September. Any history of timelines working like this?

Unless the main station/equipment shed is going in the building on the parking lot, and they are going to start on that sooner and do it before they close RRR.

If this NOC is not for the HRRR replacement, perhaps it could be something pertaining to Simpsons?

Gringott's is an Intamin ride.

A more likely, imo at least, option, is that Hogwarts express is undergoing some scheduled downtime over the next month. Considering the timing of the NOC, it's possible they have intamin working on it.

That would make my wife unhappy. Fallon's her favorite ride at either park.

Fallon enters through actual 30 Rock facade now. Hasn’t used this side entrance in a long time. Nor its extended queue… ever. Hence them adding new buildings here.

An NBC/30Rock based attraction within the New York area has a lot of strategic sense. Can't imagine they feel pressured to remove it, unless if they have to change the film if Fallon leaves.

Honest hope--I want to see no coaster elements jutting out. Restore the facade and allow the more landscapish New York sets to shine without a coaster poking it's way through it all.

Fallon is the exact kind of C-ticket a park needs. People are not rope-dropping it, it is fine not great, and the guest surveys are consistently high.

Parks *need* these sort of rides to round them out. And based on guest feedback it is not going anywhere anytime soon.

Fallon himself is young and isn't going anywhere on the Tonight show anytime soon. Many years down the line when he does retire, then you can rip out the simulator and replace it with a dark ride.

In theory, this is absolutely true.

In practice, at USF, the park has too many simulator/simulator-adjacent experiences. Fallon may be the best of them (certainly the best of the pure simulators), but some of them have to go.

Cough cough Simpsons and Supercharged. Their time will come in due course. But I also hope if the front of the park gets redone, Minion Mayhem can go for a proper DM dark ride or something else altogether, which the latter ties into a theory someone laid out a while back VCMB is a safety net type of attraction in the case Minion Mayhem goes for something better, USF can still have Despicable Me representation in the form of an attraction.

technically true yeah. but I with it was more like the Bourne ride with real elements. screen rides are good but I wish they had more real elements

Yah. Fallons a good attraction for the small footprint it occupies. F&F, Simpsons and DM Minion Mayhem are not as good as Fallon, so why penalize Fallon for their shortcomings.DM is popular, but that's because of its IP. The attraction was much better with 3D, plus it has a very small capacity. It's screen without 3D is like the Simpsons screen, poor definition.
