This looks absolutely insane in all the best ways. I was already pretty excited for it, but now I'm extremely hyped for this.

I didn't like the movie much, but I'll always celebrate a title selling well on physical media.

So, I haven't personally watched this version of the trailer yet but just from precursory glances through Twitter, it does spoil a pretty big twist about the movie that was not present in the original trailer as far as I can tell. Which is a big bummer because I was looking forward to it so to have something about it lessened is disappointing.

So watch at your own peril? Though I guess they're cool with letting the cat out of the bag before the film is out!

First update - “Okay… I can rock with this. A vanishing bridge island in a zombie apocalypse has a ton of narrative potential.”

Second - “Ah. Never mind. I don’t need to see this.”

Well to be fair he's going to be in the 2nd one I'm pretty sure. 28 Years Later still has a really great cast and from the trailers it looks awesome. I would say it's still worth a watch regardless

I don't understand...How is he not in the film? There were literally photos of him on set...unless those are from the NEXT 28 Years Later?

The Creep Tapes is a fascinating continuation of Mark Duplass' amazingly crafted Creep character. You get a handful of episodes that play out like mini Creep films (one of which features Josh Reuben, director of the upcoming Heart Eyes, as a guest star) before two tremendous episodes that delve heavily into the character and his origins, all while Duplass just dominates the screen, teetering between horrifying, demented, hilarious, heart broken, manic and every shade in between in glorious fashion.

I agree that last two episodes of The Creeps Tapes were pretty good... my issue is the first four basically just seem like 4 similar remakes of the original film, and they don't bring anything new to the character, aside from the fact the Mark Duplass character would use a lot of different characters and schemes to lure in his victims. I guess it's fun to watch him chew up the scenery (which he is admittedly good at, and they are short at less than 30 minutes), but we all know how they're going to end and there's absolutely no surprises.

Fortunately, the episodes are not sequential in any way, so one could just want the last two without needing any context from the first four.

I somewhat disagree, I think the fascinating thing about Peachfuzz/Creep is seeing him in different scenarios, seeing how he reacts, how he attacks his victims mentally before he does so physically, seeing how close he gets to unmasking himself, seeing him turn his own fear into a relishing of the hunt, etc.

That's what I love about the Creep franchise, I don't even particularly need the deep lore to the character, especially if, while executed superbly, is a somewhat cookie cutter serial killer 'trope' origin.

The fact that you get some of both really strengthens the idea of doing the series. I wouldn't mind seeing another batch of Tapes before we get a final closing chapter in the form of a full fledged film sequel.

Saw the new "WEREWOLVES" movie last month. It was predictable & enjoyable for what it was. If i remember correctly, they kinda hyped it as "The Purge but with a Werewolf blood moon" & that is more or less accurate. The ending is predictable & abrupt, but it's fine. The best part about the movie was the fact they used practical creature suits for the werewolves. So that alone is a total win for this B-movie. A practical creature feature was a breath of fresh air in the plethora of CGI.

Almost at the end of watching Terrifier 3 for the first time. They're getting a little samey for me. I still chuckle at the ridiculousness of the gore but I am getting bored.
