I'm dying for a return of the parade, but know that's pretty much never going to happen again with the crowds these days. But I think something like "Killer Clowns on Parade" where every 90min or so they just come out, play music from the movie park wide, and have them walk from point A by Fast & Furious to point B by Kwikiemart throwing out handfuls of candy and stuff. Like have some kind of motorized cart (not too big) with the cotton candy bags hanging from it with a giant barrel of candy for them to take handfuls of and throw out to the crowd. So not really a parade where the streets are roped off and there are a dozen floats...but just the most fun scare zone ever at the event living on in the streets. It would retain the party atmosphere of the zone, but also hopefully discourage selfies as there's a clear procession of the group. They already have all the costumes and the KKFOS guys and the music composer would surely be up for it.

Also would love a "NIN: From the Mind of Trent Reznor" zone like Rob Zombie's. NIN and solo/Atticus Ross collaborations for soundtracks playing and then "original creatures" thought up by Reznor. The music has been a big part of the event forever so a proper zone for his work would be awesome.

Easier/better/more accessibility for people with disabilities. This was my first time visiting with someone with disabilities and it was eye opening.

No more fighting. No more drama. I’ve grown to hate parts of the HHN “community” after the past week(s) of in-fighting and I just can’t look at visiting HHN the same way again, which sucks for me tbh.

And, finally, for good measure, The Lost Boys.

What about Army of the Dead/Army of Theives? This franchise is a spiritual successor to Dawn of the Dead, which was a Universal film, so it would be possible to do an entire ...of the Dead compilation house since Universal has the rights to DotD.

Maybe not as a house, but a roaming scarezone with a bunch of zombies would be cool.

This is one of those things that sounds cool on paper and then you remember TWD roaming and Zombieland...

Idk, I feel like there's enough for a house. I can already picture how a house like this would go and I think Tent 3 would be a fine spot for it (or the old parade).

It would be cool to see a compilation house, but I personally love Return of the Living Dead. I'd rather see it have its own house. But I do like the idea of a compilation house.

While Return of the Living Dead is also an interesting idea, what i'm talking about would more be Zack Snyder's Franchise so RotLD doesn't fit (even though it sort of does lol).

I'm predicting it to be the Netflix tie in for next year. This was the mock house I made up a few months ago:

Facade: Military Camp leading into the Vegas Border
Scene 1: Vegas Border (Lily scareactor inside, zombie scareactor at the end of the room)
Scene 2: The Highway (2-3 zombie scareactors, 1-2 main characters)
Scene 3: Zombie Ritual at the Olympus (Live scene of Zeus killing Cummings as misdirection for a Queen scareactor)
Scene 4: Bly's Casino (Large shootout with Scott and Guzman, 1-2 zombie scares)
Scene 5: The Vault (Vanderhoe and Deiter scene as misdirection for a Zeus scareactor)
Scene 6: Escape Hallway (1-2 zombie scareactors, maybe a kill scene)
Scene 7: The Zombie Tiger (Zombie Tiger puppet)
Scene 8: Rescuing Kate (Zeus scare, Scott and Kate scene)
Scene 9: Helicopter (Zeus killing Lily with live Peters actor ala Janine in Ghostbusters)
Scene 10: Final Scares (2-3 zombies)

It'd be good for one of the sprungs. Haven't watched Army of Thieves yet, but maybe that would get a scene or two.

Army of Thieves should get something right at the beginning of the house since it's a prequel movie. Not too much though, i'd focus any house more on Army of the Dead.

Night of the Living Dead would be the next zombie house I would like to see. It's a classic and would be super unique if they made the whole house truly black and white (not like House of Horrors "black and white").

There are bigger Netflix IPs available.
Like what? Being serious because most of the time it’s hard to know what’s a big Netflix IP unless you see big buzz about it on Twitter. All I can think about is Squid Game, Stranger Things 4, or (long shot) Bly Manner if not Army of the Dead.

I feel like for something on Netflix to feel “big” it has to be something that everyone decided they needed to watch, which makes me lean towards Squid Game again.

Stranger Things, Midnight Mass, Fear Street, Squid Games would all be vastly more attractive IPs.

Fear Street feels like the likeliest candidate to be the next Netflix rep.

This *feels* like where things are going.

Idk that I agree it's the likeliest. I'd say Squid Games, Stranger Things 4, and Midnight Mass first. Fear Street has potential, sure, but it wasn't widely popular outside of horror circles when each movie was released and they also never popped up back into the Netflix Top 10 during spooky season this year. Squid Games was literally an inescapable phenomenon pretty much all of October, and Midnight Mass was pretty popular. When ST4 comes out next year, it will for sure be hugely popular with it's built in fan base and it being the first new season in almost 3 years. I'd be surprised if Universal didn't want one last bite at that apple.

I still think Army of the Dead is a solid choice, especially with it becoming a large franchise that has quite a future ahead of it.

Dunno if I agree with the middle two. Midnight Mass released at the wrong time and was immediately overshadowed by Squid Game. Bly Manor had much higher viewership than Midnight Mass based on Letterboxd/IMDb, so I'm not sure if it's even the most popular Mike Flanagan miniseries HHN can still do. Fear Street had very strong viewership, but none of the films cracked Netflix's Top 10 most viewed of all time. Army of the Dead on the other hand is currently their 9th most viewed film with 75M+ streams as of October. Squid Game makes more sense as a zone, and Stranger Things would be dependent upon the fourth season releasing in time for the event as they only wrapped principal production a few weeks ago.

I think the show (ST) will likely come out either around Memorial Day or possibly July 4th like 2019, so they should be fine.
