Ok somebody please make me clear on a topic... I thought that universal wanted to get guests off of the streets so they built attractions that absorbed many crowds (Wizarding world/2 story Springfield building). Wouldn't building a grab and go just keep crowds on the street but with refreshments? I think they should build a sit down dining place like stated before. Universal needs one.. I'm tired of eating pizza/burgers/chicken fingers... Also if architecturally completed correctly, it could take many guests off the streets for periods of time creating less chaos...

It really sucks that this slot is wasted on such a general and generic replacement. It could have been something incredibly innovative or just creative. Instead we are once again stumped with same old star bucks, more souvenir stores, and a (from what you guys been saying) "possible eatery."

If anything, they should at least theme the building. -_-

Maybe they can make the building look like a soundstage and put something on the side like "Soundstage ______."

This is exactly what USH is trying to move away from.

I think it's safe to say that this building will blend in with Universal Plaza's Art Deco theme. The construction walls surrounding the site even match Universal Plaza, which would lead me to believe that that's the theme they want to portray in that area of the park.

Yeah, it'll definitely be Art Deco. Universal is really trying to go for a uniform theme. I hope it'll be intricate/extravagant. I'm curious if they'll remodel or update the other shops in the entrance to look more Art Deco and not so Spanish Revival. I'm sure Cartooniversal will be first.

I know what they're building isn't really exciting, but I'm very curious to see how it looks when its built.

^Yeah it's pretty much just another Universal Plaza for me.

More steel.  Clearly the new building footprint is much larger than the previous one.  Plenty of room for Starbucks.  I wonder if they'll pay Universal higher rent to be in a new building full of retail foot traffic near front gate?  Any thoughts on if theming on one side will extend the English street like the construction walls imply?  Also, am I wrong or is there room for an alley between new construction and rear of Globe theater?  I would love it if they didn't have to roll trash out through crowd area in those ugly, loud bins.  I would love it if they could theme those rolling trash bins somehow.

...This is getting kinda big..bigger than I thought it would be. Could this be a sign of the possible Entertainment that was said to come? As I swear it was said of some sort of Entertainment would come for the new thing.
