Seeing this video of the short lived Marvel Mania restaurant, that was replaced by all the mazes, kinda gives me a better idea just how this walk through could be utilized as a multilevel restaurant. And if they make it a new lavish themed restaurant and also offer some kind of entertainment inside, I...might actually be excited. Because I'll be honest, almost none of the in-park food offerings excite me whatsoever. Even from the upcoming Springfield. So this kinda excites me.

Holy crap, that's huge. This looks like something that'd belong in IOA!

And can you believe this used to be at USH!  I remember this very well each time I walk into the maze.  I sure hope they do it right and make it top quality.  Our park needs it!

You can see the spider web glass on the second floor.  Some of that glass is still there today!  Hopefully we can show you those photos we have in the near future.

I wrote this idea in the lower lot but I'll repeat it here:

How about HoH becomes a Planet Hollywood-type restaurant?! Upscale dining AND surrounded by props and costumes. Relocate Universal Experience in there, and have some stuff just be in an exhibit type space in there, and some stuff surround the dining spaces. I'd LOVE to see that at USH.

Maybe that's their plan? Probably wishful thinking, but isn't it a little coincidental that Soundstage 28, being where it's located, is slated for demolition around the same time that House of Horrors is getting the boot? Kinda peculiar in my opinion.

We'll see!

My absolute dream for Stage 28:

House of Horrors themed major "Thrill" Ride using kuka arm, Transformers, or variation of Gringotts technology. It would be fitting to have it on the Haunted Stage 28 spot, can be themed to all the classic Universal Monsters (and I guess some scenes can occasionally be added based on newer horror movies), and in general would be a fantastic attraction. Or call it Phantom's Revenge or The Wrath of the Phantom. Have the theme to be us visiting either A. The Haunted opera house or B. A museum where the Phantom and all the Universal Monsters come to life!

Or just make it House of Horrors The Ride ;)

Kind of bizarre that Marvel Mania was both ahead of its time and also kind of dated simultaneously.

That said, it'd be awesome for them to bring some of that multi-leveled greatness back into the park.

Despite the countless times I had walked through this maze, that article highlighted so many new things for me. I'm really gonna miss this attraction.

If it's gonna be a nice restaurant, I am so content. It's sad, but dammit there are literally no places inside the park that offer a GOOD meal that isn't just "fast food". Bring it on! I hope the themeing is awesome and I hope that it'll be similar to Planet Hollywood.

That was fantastic that IU got such a detailed look at the entire attraction and all the details. Saw so many things I have NEVER seen. Loved the little BTTF prop in there!!

I wonder what they're gonna do with all this stuff :/ so much history...

I'm confused. Is House of Horrors gonna be already closed on September 1st, or is September 1st it's last operating day?

I'm super confused.

"Get scared one last time at House of Horrors before it closes its doors September 1."

I need to know and plan accordingly.

Based on that wording, I would assume September 1st is its last day of operation. I was asking myself that question too, though. I'll ask when I'm in the park later today.

I have to wonder how much of the BTTF:TR stuff survived the replacement.

NO WAY!!! Always saw that, never realized what that was!

Those other little gears above and below it look like the kind used in the DeLorean models as well.

pains me to think what they'll do with all of this on September 2nd...
