I only ever did the 2017 version since I was scared to do the one in 2015 :sob:, but even being considered the weakest one, I still consider it the scariest maze I've ever done, I am super excited to see Insidious return! The facade looking amazing!
I’d also add that, besides the Latin American houses, Hollywood rarely leans into a traditional “spooky” vibe for any of their attractions.

This could be a a really nice addition to the lineup, in that sense

Adding in my two cents too: I never got the chance to experience Insidious in any of it's three forms. I only have the knowledge of the reputation it's built--of the GP reactions that consistently lead it to win the awards that it did.

To me, with that; and combining my desire to treat it as a Original (even in full knowing it is an IP of a pre-established film series) is what drives me to be incredibly interested and albeit excited to see what Murdy does with the material.

Scene, boo hole, scene, boo hole, dark room (the Further), boo hole(s), the end. You're welcome.

Mostly kidding, to be less sardonic about this, The Further scenes in the past were really unsettling. If you thought the movies were too much, I honestly don't know how you're going to survive the maze.........

I re-watched all of these movies since the announcement. I still really like the concept of The Further, and as far as ghost stories go I think that concept helps keep it interesting. I'm looking forward to see what they pull from each movie. The 2013 house was probably my favorite of the Insidious themed houses so I'd love for this to top it!

Murdy likes to leave Horror Nighters screaming whenever they exit a haunted maze. “We do a final scare sometimes or maybe even a final-final scare,” Murdy said. “This one is a final scare, a final-final scare, a final-final-final scare, a final-final-final-final scare and a final-final-final-final-final scare.”

Don’t let your guard down in the Insidious maze until you’ve seen all the demons one final time.

In the comments they stated that they could record it due to media coverage I don't know if that is true or not.

Come on, dude. If something doesn't pass the smell test, and it certainly looks and feels like someone was breaking rules, you can't post it here. This was obviously someone sneaking around backstage. Someone will be fired or trespassed over this. Don't post it here.

Wait did everyone think of insidious so far, I thought it looked great but maybe that's just my opinion.

Having been through 2015 & 2017's Insidious houses, this just looked like more of the same. Not necessarily a bad thing, but anytime I see the event have a "Horrors of Blumhouse" compilation house/Tram, I raise my eyebrow at Insidious getting it's own house (like 2017 & also similar to 2018's The First Purge & Horrors of Blumhouse directly across from it). It just makes me feel like something else could've filled that void. That personal nitpick aside, from what I saw, this will deliver the scares like always.

I dread it's return in the future with the impending sequel- August 29th, 2025. Which makes me once again question why it has a house this year when next year would've been better.

FINALLY got to do this house last night after the failed attempt on Friday. It's a solid house!!

Technically, THIS would be the "budget-saving" house with a fancy facade considering how many scenes were definitely recycled from past iterations. Not a bad thing either!!

LOVED the low-lying fog effect by one of the red doors.

Also can pretty much verify this house is FULLY staffed in every boohole! :scream::skull:

Weird to say, but I'm sad I didn't get to experience the puke smell lmao it's why I go on opening weekend, to experience the early iterations and versions of the mazes. Didn't think they'd make any changes yet. Oh well. Maybe the poor scareactor was dying in there lol

If its any consolation, basically just imagine regular puke smell in a 102 degree room, it was a pretty accurate recreation.

Its been 9 years since black walls have been effective on me, this house is HELLLA dark making some of them work, especially since you don't know if they will have an actor in it or not, some do so its was unnerving my first few runs

Go through during the last 45min of the night. It's fully staffed with every boohole filled.

I nearly died & I've been on the scareactor side!

I will say, I don't think its been talked about a ton but I think they've somehow really sorted out a lot of the lightbleed issues we used to see in the late 2010s, I always do Insidious first which you'd think would lead to a lot of light bleed issues but they keep it really dark in there despite the sun barely starting to set at EA time. I remember back in 2018 or so you were basically getting lights on tours of all the backlot mazes with how much light bleed they suffered that early in the night. Curious what theyre doing different now. Maybe they just made the walls taller?
