Most zoos typically avoid lighting packages inside the actual animal enclosures. When they are there, it’s purposely dim and relies mostly on light bleed. It’s a health concern, as it can severely confuse the animal’s natural sleeping rhythms. It was the primary reason AK didn’t have nighttime hours for so long.Every zoo that is open after hours has lights, ever been to Animal Kingdom?
This will have a lighting pack like every attraction.
The primary, operational reason for putting forward facing lights on a coaster is light up the area in front of and immediately surrounding the car itself. If it was strictly off-ride aesthetics, they could just give it trim lighting. I’d expect the pen to be very dark, and then off-track lighting to be primarily after the top hat.
