I believe Teebin is implying these are not meant for Kong. Temporary to their current location, as in meant for some place else, such as the new Hogsmeade entry plaza (although I guess they could also just be moved elsewhere in this plot...). We'll soon find out!

Oh that's exciting too, thanks for the clarification. I'm really curious about the new hogsmeade opening and how it's gonna look. Whatever these things are I'm sure they will look nice wherever they are going

Yes. These are definitely for Hogsmead. The two on the left are almost identical to the two stones to the left of Hippogriff entrance.

Yeah, I posted here only because the area is now referred to as the Kong plot. Why they are being sculpted offsite is beyond me. It implies that their future location is not prepared for the rebar or sculptors. I cannot figure out what the core inside the rebar is all about... I must send some emails and find out. I will let you know.

Ok, I get it now... Does this have something to do with the giant mound of dirt that's being built in front of the wooden fence outside Hogsmeade?

I have absolutely no idea. Didn't know there was a mound of earth there now. Things, "come and go so quickly here!".

I feel so silly as I should have known what the "core" of the rebar is. I have known about it for years.

It is the dense wire lathe that is mounted to the rebar and set two inches back. It appears solid because it has been sprayed with a coating of shotcrete (sprayed concrete) to support the additional concrete added for sculpting.

The black at the top could be a urethane waterproofing to prevent water from seeping down inside the hollow inside.

I'm almost sure you are right. I guess we'll see this at the entrance area and they are sculpting them in another location because of how crowded or narrow it is. These kind of stones can also be seen at the small stage close to Hagrid's hut.

No, it will definitely all be open by the time HE is open, what he is asking is maybe that area, since its more aesthetics, will be open before the other areas

Oh ok thanks, hopefully that's the case, i still can't believe that work walls that have been there since early 2012 are coming down soon. I'm just excited, it's like Christmas in summer
