Hmmm. The shape of these are reminiscent of Scottish standing stones. Similar to those at FotH.

Didn't HTF say more of these would be placed in the new Hogsmeade entry plaza? Perhaps these are being built at this location and then being moved when ready. Some will recall when Gru's house was prefabbed behind the sprung tents and then moved to DM overnight.

I'm thinking the same thing. These don't immediately recall anything in Skull Island... yet.

That's what I was thinking, and it would narrow down the possibilities for us. Maybe part of the outdoor section of the ride?

It's not like concrete construction for the new Kong ride is bad I'm ready for a custom, non-Potter E-ticket to come to IOA!

The experience of a new ride in general - The mystery & excitement - is the best part. Last time I felt this was mystic manor in DisneyLand HK - T'was amazing.

Cant wait for HP, Kong and Kidzone.

Kong is going to be phenomenal, as somebody who personally thinks the original King Kong was a milestone in filmmaking (even more than citizen Kane, come at me) but the remake was equally as awesome. I can't wait for this ride it's going to be phenomenal. Just imagining being in skull island makes me go back to my childhood watching the stop motion ape on the big screen and just having all this imagination flowing towards me. I never went on kongfrontation (GIANT regret) but I have full trust in universal to make something I love come to life. Rock on kong :kingkong:

Always when I was at a park in Orlando and would see these kind of removal tags I wanted to tell them they could planted them in my garden if they wanted to get rid of them. They sure are active there. With horizontal building already a go does that mean that groundwork (electricity, drainage, sewer, etc) is already done?

No, I don't think any work like that has been done yet, you would have seen picks of them working the second they started . Its possible there are service lines under that plot or pretty close that they can tap into when needed but nothing has been done yet for this building

Awesome thanks for the update!!! It seems like attraction revivals are a new trend now. Like dwarfs, kong and the fabulous captain EO. It makes you wonder if any other dead attractions could come back in a new form. Honestly I hope not, kong is seriously the only one that could come back strong. BTTF has a permanent due date so id be destined to close and jaws could come back in a way but ehh, wouldn't be the same, everything else in old universal should just stay dead

Ya never know, they could always go with the idea I proposed a while back about a building in the next non-water park in which they have a bunch of simulators, each being a simulation of former UOR rides
