Yep, and the big mystery that remains is how they will hide the outdoor ride portions from the intersection of Toon and JP. It will be so cool to see what happens next.

Interesting you ask this. I always assumed the outdoor ride portions would be in full and plain view of the current Toon/JP intersection. As you cross the bridge from Toon to JP on foot, you will see the KONG vehicles roving around outside. It would be a great weenie and photo op, and add a lot of energy to the area.

Now, I DO think they will put a wall of foliage up so you can't see the garish colors of Ripsaw when you are actually on the ride. But those on foot should be able to see the outdoor portion of the ride in action.

No insider knowledge, just speculation.

I hope you are correct. That would build a lot of anticipation walking up to the ride. Sorta like the outside of test track.

I've always thought along the same thing. Can't wait to see how it pans out!

I don't know if anyone can answer this, but does anyone have an idea on how the track layout is going to be for this ride? I understand the building is HUGE, but since I haven't seen it in person, the pics don't look that big to me. As a result, when I look at it from above, it almost looks like the ride is going to leave the station, drive through the short outdoor section, enter the building, make a right turn, take a long straight drive (through the big show building) followed by another right turn and BOOM, we're back at unload. Do my eyes deceive me? Are there going to be more twists/turns going on in the building than I'm realizing?

EDIT: I browsed back further and found Teebin's mention of an early curve in the show building that looks as though it may have possibly been cut. So it does look like there's going to be more twisty/turny action going on in the building that I initially thought.

Keep in mind, that was idle conjecture on my part based on the fact the shape and apparent depth (north to south) has been change from earlier designs that are floating around the internets.

I took quite a few photos today from the Jurassic Park section, but I don't know how to post them.

I don't know about in plain view. I was thinking hidden with foliage but still visible enough. Kinda how you can see Jungle Cruise while walking through Indiana Jones Adventure in DLR and vice versa.

That would be a great idea actually, would be a nice way to build anticipation, just show enough to make you know there is something great there ...

Great pictures, TAC2CAL!

I wish I had kids so I could ride the Pteranodon Flyers to get photos!

How did you get the last photo? Lifting your phone over the Toon Lagoon gate or something?

Um... something about this project may have changed, seriously changed. In a holding pattern waiting to see if I can speak of it.

On. The edge. Of. My. Seat...

Seriously changed... as in good... bad... neutral?

Excuse me while I keep hitting refresh on my browser over and over.

Ok, it was a miscommunique of sorts. The change is not as serious as previously offered, but it turns out they are whipping to have this thing ready early, softs early, really ready, as in extreme opposite of Gringotts ready. Majority of spring break perhaps. May is still set for trumpets and confetti.

Are we talking 2015 Spring Break or 2016 Spring Break? As unachievable as it sounds, I hope it's the former. OR, maybe they're wanting to get it open early to tie in with a certain movie coming out soon and this isn't what I thought it was...

There's a lot of rockwork and testing to be done. Hell, the track isn't laid down yet.

Opposite Gringotts made me think 2015. But we are getting a 2015 announcement right? It's not "landscape work" like at Busch Gardens Williamsburg.
