I'd definitely prefer Comcast get the MGM catalogue than Apple.
Apple would lock everything away purely for streaming (kind of like Disney's done), while I suspect Comcast would still allow for physical media 4K releases of some of the major titles MGM controls. And that's not even taking into account how much I'd hate it if the Bond franchise going forward was a streaming -- rather than big screen -- event.
As far as theme park applications, obviously Universal could probably do something interesting with 007. Even though they just opened Bourne, a lavish James Bond stunt spectacular (on a large, epic scale) could be incredible...
