Great idea. Plus slide sitting on a manhole cover themed single raft.

Do we know if they're trying to go IP-less or are there going to be just a couple present? I forgot :bonk: haha

A bunch of permits were recently filed for the foundations and core/shells of the buildings for Project 533:

I'm assuming these are for things like the main entrance, gift shop(s), restaurant(s), and changing rooms/restrooms. Once foundations are completed, it won't be long until construction can go vertical!

^ What park is that? It appears only 60-90' high.

Regardless, search goog images for "Waterpark volcano" and you will see that many parks have such a feature. I feel confident that none are 200' tall.

Finally, we are off and running... that is the kind of serious stuff I have been waiting for. It's going to be 6-10 months before we see anything vertical.

Those have been there for a month or perhaps even two months.

Now that the permits are filed, how long should it be before works begins?

I wonder which detention pond handles the rain runoff from Cabana Bay. Perhaps they connected into a system that beneath Hollywood Way?

Who here took the pictures of the site and posted them on twitter today? They are going right to town on the site now. I hope you post the pictures on here. I grabbed one of them to post in the meantime:

Those are excellent too princeinc! A completely different perspective. Thanks!

BTW: Where they are digging deepest is where the mega volcano is going.

Will this park have a layout kind of like Blizzard Beach?

What was this a picture of? It appears to have been taken down. Could anyone who saw it describe it to me?

Copy that address into your web browser (you will need to be a member of that forum) and you'll see the picture.

Unfortunately the picture can't be embedded unless it's already in your temporary files.

Yessuh, Thanks! The three roundtangles are the entrances or staircases for the major slides. Great to see that virtually nothing has changed in a year.
