Obviously I was completely underestimating just how much effort is being put into this project even knowing that a Diagon Alley level of effort at minimum is what we've been hearing from those more in the know. I figured that the area would have the major Mario Kart attraction as its sole major attraction and two minor attractions with the same incredible theming and attention to detail we've come accustomed to.
I had no idea that the land would majorly (non meet & greet only) represent IPs other than Mario. Though Donkey Kong is heavily associated with the Mario universe, DK getting his own attraction as a resurrection of the old JP cavern coaster along with what has already been discussed is far more than I would have imagined to be within the realm of possibility. I'm hopeful that the attraction will be at least the same intensity as Seven Dwarves, if not slightly more thrilling.
I didn't think I could be more excited for this addition, but I certainly am.
USO will truly become a full day park with this addition. The sheer number of attractions (regardless of the "screenz" argument) in the park is already somewhat impressive. Though Christmas is one of the busiest times of the year, my friends and I were unable to experience anywhere near all of the attractions available during our visit a few weeks ago (Missed: Shrek, Minions, Transformers, Simpsons) in the 9 hours we were there. With F&F, Fallon, DK Mine Cart, Mario Kart, and possibly even Life of Pets (haven't kept up with the news on the LoP), the park will be a ridiculously full experience even on a low attendance days.
