Maybe Disney will start replacing some of the benches that have all but disappeared at WDW in the past few years. Even Walt used to like to sit down and rest in the park every now & then....Now that would be a Media Event. :)

So at least we'll have a Diagon like event and more info in May. Nice.
Hopefully it won't an announcement of an announcement situation. I have heard that one FoP theater is not even close to done, and that they are having BIG problems with the NRJ Ride System. Supposedly, in the video, there are actually guys in the water pushing the boat by hand so that Jimmy C. and Bob I. could get a "feel" of what the ride will be like.

Probably a "when it opens to guests in August!" sort of situation after all the media are escorted around the land and have a sampling of food.

This doesn't sound promising at all. I was hoping to take a trip next September with the hopes that they would have worked the bugs out. I get why new tech is developed for rides but sometimes, like for NRJ, can't they just use the tried and true flume-style such as Pirates or Small World? The Shanghai ride makes sense to use that tech and there are a couple thrill moments. I probably don't have the best sightline on this but a slow moving ride doesn't need extravagant technology.

September is FAR away. Hell Gringotts was open July and around this time in 2014 that ride system was not functioning.

Confession: I haven't been to Orlando since 2009. I thought the Avatar movie was ok - not great- and I wasn't excited about it coming to DAK. That said, Pandora may be the very thing that makes me plan a trip. It looks beautiful! I just hope the attractions themselves are worthy of the incredible surroundings.
