Lance from Screamscape is saying that his "sources" are reporting that Twister isn't leaving in the near future too. While he's quick to say that doesn't mean that Twister is safe, he says it just sounds like it's not leaving quite as soon as many of us had feared. I personally hope it sticks around for another few years, though I'm sure I'm being overly optimistic.

Depends on your definition of "near future". I was pretty shocked hearing on here that it had the potential to close during Christmas season, so if that's what one defines as the 'near future' then they're pretty spot on in saying it's not leaving anytime soon. Right before summer seems much more reasonable and is obviously farther off.

I'd be shocked if Twister isn't gone by Spring. I can see it getting delayed to help with Christmas crowds though.
