So...I saw it in person earlier today and I kinda had a good laugh. I like the hanging anubis statue, but those boxes? Considering how lackluster the exterior theming has always been for our Mummy, the boxes did nothing for me.

Don't take this the wrong way. I guess I like the boxes, since it's better than nothing and it IS new but I hope this is just the beginning of sprucing up the Mummy.

Finally, Mummy is getting some love. I'm happy, i love the ride, it's just theming is terrible. Good to see the queue getting plants and props

Alright, so I was at the park today on and off RotM like an overzealous fan and I ended up getting front seat almost every time. I LOVE sitting in the front of the ride because I have a ridiculous obsession with animatronic Imhotep (well, normal Imhotep too haha).

I noticed something today while I was studying his movements (don't mind me and my animatronics obsession). Does Imhotep have a winking movement? I swear he winks his left eye when he says 'your souls belong to me.' At first I thought it may have been a shadow, but I'm completely unsure.

Can one of you lovely people do me a favor and sit front seat on RotM the next time you're in the park and confirm if this is true or not?

More like, let me know if I'm insane or not?

What I honestly think it is, and im not sure, but I think Imhotep's animatronic blinks both eyes, but the right one probably got stuck open, so the left eye looks like it's winking when it blinks. Just a guess.

You're not crazy, it does look like a wink. I went front row two hours ago, and as he sneers just before you take off, the movement of his eye socket looks exactly like a wink. His facial movements are very detailed when you look closer. I'd never noticed before!

Yay for not being crazy! I just went again tonight and it looks like he does have some type of eyebrow movement after all. I was always under the impression that he only had a mouth movement, so I'm all excited and giddy now. Haha.

Someday I'll find a closeup picture/video of that animatronic and my life will be complete.

I do wish we had a longer opportunity to study Imhotep.  I always am keeping my eyes on the warriors that I hardly ever look at him.

I went on the ride the other day and the video monitor of Imhotep in the treasure room looped immediately as we left to the launch area.  Something must have been glitching because I also heard the audio repeat from the vehicle in front of us.  Not normal.

I was at the park all weekend and it looped like that every time I rode it. I thought they might have reprogrammed the ride to get people through quicker. I hope that's not the case because it really detracts from the ride experience (of an already inferior ride).

The video looked fine yesterday based on my visit.

I tried to get a good look at Imhotep and he looked the same to me: an old corpse seemingly suffering from endless seizures.

I think it needs more than mere love. Sadly, I doubt this will be addressed until the Summer after Potter's opening.

I just recently watched a man recording himself on the Singapor version of the ride....Why are we not making this happen at Universal Hollywood?!? Even the one in Orlando is better than ours! Universal has always been bringing people in everyday and yet they can't improve on a few rides, just to bring in even more people?

I heard that the Mummy was getting some sort of upgrade next year. Unfortunately I do not have any details about what the upgrade will include.

Orlando, no. Singapore, yes. Due to orlando doesn't have a story. ride itself, I still prefer Hollywood over Orlando.

Past "upgrades" have been "downgrades", but I sure hope we get something good.

Revenge of the Mummy desperately needs a new ending. The ride needs a proper and impressive finale that doesn't leave a bitter taste in the rider's mouths like the current random ending. All I hear time after time during that "ending" is "what? What was that? That's it? Is it over? Uhhhhhhh what? Laaaame. Was that the picture?"

I feel it needs to go.. I felt very excited when the ride first arrived but felt like it became another routine after a few years.  Me personally, do I feel it should hav ever replaced E.T.......  No.  I felt E.T. was the heart of the park outside te studio tour. I might be bias since I have been going to the park since 91'. Oh well.
