I just hope its good...I'm see the fan event next Thursday and you get a free poster

Also its not a bad song and smart using McKenna Grace for a song, like they did in the first (new) Ghostbusters soundtrack

I've seen a couple posters for this up around LA and every time I see one I think, "my god, they actually made this movie huh?"

Here's the important popcorn bucket p0rn for the movie... there's others, but these are THE BEST.

The display case Ghostface is so tempting. I also love the "door" version too..

Scream has been one of my favorite franchises. Bummer that I have no interest in this for a few reasons.

I get it

I was more hyped for the last 3 movies for sure

I have AMC so going to give it a go...but the behind the scenes stuff is BS and honestly I feel like the people making these needed a way out from the last two actresses anyway....Jenna is just too big for these films now unless they want the budget to be hugeeee

Sorry but just the fact that I'll be seeing a Scream movie... any Scream movie... in IMAX in less than week is exciting enough.

I'm cautiously optimistic for the sole reason that there really hasn't been a bad Scream movie yet. Even the worst one (3) is still just ok. No other horror franchise has reached this many films without one being flat-out terrible.

mmmm......mmm yeah you're technically right just because of how repetitive and mediocre they all are.
the last 2 for me were really awful (specially scream 5 was awful)
but yeah the entire franchise doesn't deviate too much or change the format

it's the same as SAW. that franchise reached 12 movies without becoming "terrible" I'll stand by that. saw is a franchise that reached that many films without becoming flat out terrible

if anything, saw is better than scream. just overall

It was 10. There were only 10. Technically 9 if "Spiral" isn't included due to being a knock-off side quest.

Not. Even. Remotely. The. Same. One is a gore-filled suspense crime thriller, the other is a slasher horror movie.. Not comparable.

I mean as long as the film is fun enough...any series can go on forever

The last Saw was much better then most the things after Saw 4 as for Scream....I do hope this one is good. I was more hyped for the last films because the trailers for this was not going much but I've found trailers don't always mean I will like a film or not

So open to it being great

Jenna and Melissa Barrera not being in it is the main reason I'm not really interested (other than the tired 3rd act "this is why i killed everybody" monologues), considering the story of last 2 movies revolved completely around them and was clearly supposed to continue in the next movie. Now all of a sudden we're back with Sidney, with a killer that's easier to figure out than the one in Scream 5 LOL

I’ll catch this randomly after a night of drinking and make fun of it the whole time in a few years
