I mean isn't it mainly a retheme of that last shooter ride. I doubt it will be like this at all.

Sure, but just as SLOP was ready to open a year ago before the lockdowns, so was Bear-y Tales (although a few months later). I just think it would be a great time to soft-open the ride to prepare for when the park opens back up in May, just like how USH soft-opened SLOP prior to their grand opening to test VL and ride ops. Knott's could do the same.

Universal/Comcast, if you are reading this (and why shouldn't you), my mom (75) asked if this ride is also going to be build in Orlando. She would love to ride it and buy a case full of stuffed animals from the shelter.

Its funny, because I had so much hype for those and absolutely zero hype for this.

I think there's a connection, to be honest.

Most rides the community doesn't hype up in their heads for years before hand tend to have decent receptions, because there's no baseline expectation.

Like, this looks like a very cute ride. Would I rather ride it than Mario Kart? not in a million years.

I was genuinely surprised in a pleasant way to see representation, especially for a theme park attraction; to be fully integrated as part of a ride scene (and in a positive light!). Absolutely in love with that.

Disagree that USH allowed this to open. Pass holders last year were supposed to have a preview day and never got it. We have been loyal to USH and were waiting to ride it April 15. Bad show USH in my opinion.

Since all most of us can do is base each ride off of video footage: it honestly does.

That doesn’t mean I won’t prefer MK once I can finally ride it and get the full experience, but right now, being completely honest, I am drawn more towards SLOP.

I think getting knickers in a bunch over a park opening a ride they had to delay for a year due to a worldwide pandemic is pretty petty, tbh. Be happy the parks are going to be open.

This looks better than Mario Kart to me. I'm going to ride both of course but this just looks so much better in terms of the overall "package".

But I'm not going to compare anymore because they're drastically different rides.

Mario Kart means something to me and to me I've very excited to ride with or without glasses for me its the ride that could beat HP Forbidden Journey as my favorite ride

People can disagree but be consistent the MK Q is as good if not better, the sound track for sure is better on MK, the ride for MK has more impressive tech, both use physical sets and screens. The only thing you can kinda ding on MK is it has more screens but they blend in very well to the ride, the Bowser statue looks REAL not a screen

My ONLY gripe with this ride is that is has (albeit a very low) height requirement and that a test seat might be needed for some guests. Having a ride like this helps the "Universal isn't for kids" crowd, but does nothing for those who complain about size inclusivity.
