I dont see how the park hasnt invested lately. I mean they did cover the parking lot with solar panels. As long as it stays marketed as the thrill capital of the world. It will never be a second tier park.

Yes, park improvements is where we will see most of our cap ex go towards. That's a good thing. I just want people to be prepared when they see other parks get huge investments in major rides, while we get smaller, more crucial additions for a good while.

I just want the Sky Tower to get fixed and I want that giga eventually (Hopefully by the Olympics!)

In other news, SF confirmed this morning that the new coaster for Magic Mountain is due in 2026. So the "first of its kind" ride isn't cancelled after all. I guess that's good news?

I don’t want to be a Debbie downer here, but has anyone else heard the rumor of X2 closing for good? I’m really concerned there might be validity to those rumors after they did Kindga Ka so dirty.

The rumor I’m hearing is SFOT’s dive coaster for 2026 will be a giga and that it was originally meant for SFMM prior to the merger before management shifted priorities and hence the lag of any groundwork post-theatre demolition.

There will be more details released in the coming weeks regarding new food and other upgrades coming in 2025/2026.

I haven’t heard about any coasters closing, but I find it telling that they are not boasting about a record breaking 21 coasters in the press release.

This is not a rumor at all, but I'd love an Axis coaster.

My heart would love it to be so, as that's honestly a unique concept which could have a ton of potential...but my head steps in to remind me it's from S&S and my hope is dampened immensely.
