Me: Yay, a pro-consumer price decrease!
Also me: Why would you place those new price magnets in a randomized orientation that is deeply upsetting to me on a spiritual level?

Also a new park map on display... and it's giant!

Also, they have painted section and row markers in the solar parking lot. The furthest out lots are Ninja and Goldrusher. Crazanity also has it's own section.

I have not been to the park since the beginning of Spring. I still have my pass. Guess I better check out the park next week and stay for Fright Fest. I know I dog on the event a lot but at least I want to see the improvements they made to the park since then! Also it’s only what $15 for a house wristband so I might as well.

Apparently the security machines were not working. Drove by about 8pm and the overflow lot was almost full. They were getting ready to use the additional overflow lot east of the main parking lot.

So I’m gonna circle back to the 2026 coaster discussion for SFMM….

I know the park was teasing a steampunk themed ride of some sort and the rumor was a Vekoma of some sort. I’m actually wondering if there is a retheme planned for Full Throttle plaza. I would hope so as there is literally no theming present for FT plaza.

Or it could be the Steampunk district making its way all the way down to the new coaster

If you happen to like Superman Escape From Krypton, and it opens again, RIDE IT. It will probably be your last ride.

By extension that'd essentially make 1/3 of the park rooted with the Steampunk like theming, no? One would hope that means when the new coaster begins construction (once the permitting progresses and they don't get rejected again) that Goliath would be affected by it (and hopefully finally given the repaint).

That sucks. I know it was a matter of time--but I had hoped TOT Australia could've kept the ride going for a bit longer. I assume Lex Luthor would also be affected?

I get that that the technology for Superman is now nearly 30 years old. But given the advances in launch systems in recent years, you'd think there would be a way to somehow retrofit the ride with updated tech.

I suppose the sheer size of the trains would be a bit of an issue, but maybe the trains could be redesigned. Imagine it with the seats from a half-pipe!

I think they’re gonna rip the track and make it a true strata coaster using the existing steel structure.

Building #2230 is the same building issued on the grading permit that specifically says “grading permit for new coaster #2230”

But what is BLDG #2230. It wasn't the theater.
