They ditched the ride fog some time ago. It wasn't clear why.
It might've been because there was a large amount of fog that was going into the park path and guests walking by may have sensitivity to fog.

Agreed. Most fog in special effects is water based so does not affect asmatics etcNo. I use the same company that Universal uses for their fog. There are no sensitivity issues.
I bet it was scrapped for the sake of cost (fluid can be expensive) and not having the refill the system constantly.
