What happened to all the USH expansion plans pre Covid ?

I remember reading about how this park was about get some huge projects and then poof everybody at UC Hollywood was supposedly fired.

With UOR full steam ahead on various things I think it’s about time for the West Coast to get some major love.

USH is now scrambling to make massive renovations, expansions, additions etc due to the 2028 Olympics. It's great, but also amusingly sad since a lot of these things should've happened pre-apocalypse rather than post.

There is so much that needs to be done to fix the park/Studio.

Yeah I was expecting so much more to be done to the park. I remember having these conversations here a few years ago and thinking 2028 was so far away, we have so much time!
Now it’s pretty much too late to start anything major and finish on time.

- Hilton expansion
- mysterious Starway hill dirt pushing
- Supercharged closed awaiting vortex tunnel return
- Simpsons borrowed time
- Former TWD Attraction space just existing
- Lower Lot landlocked for the time being
- Parisian Courtyard/French St existing

Add in New Mill replacing old one (As I think that's actually going to be important to keep in mind with) + New Tech Services Building at ET Overflow Lot, and the Hillside being a "Retaining Wall/Utility Events Space", and that seems to be it.

By all appearances, the old TWD space seems to be now going to be an alternate flex space for HHN and FFN. Between construction and tear down time to create both of those, I can't see much else happening with that at this point.

Yup--with both SS15 and UBE, they finally have two proper "Controlled" venues for indoor environments on a notable scale with both events. Would be foolish to toss them both out.

Maybe just maybe SS12 can also be a permanent HHN space, even if getting to/from it was a pain.

Unless that SS is doomed for future Extinction

Hate to say this, but SS 12 would be the perfect spot for the relocated Tram. If they use it, hopefully they can get another stage close by to accommodate that for FFN/HHN space

That wouldn't work for a multitude of reasons. One being the to/from. Where it'd pick-up/drop-off. Maintenance garages. Etc etc.

Remember, Jurassic sits where the tram used to exist on the Lower Lot.

If we sacrificed the row of soundstages directly behind Nintendo for a new Tram location, the to/from would still be tricky. But at least then you could make the blasphemous move of using the SS12 area for Tram Maintenance.

Of course there is still the issue of returning back to the Lower Lot, especially if expansion takes place beyond Simpsons hill/current Tram area.

and now my brain hurts. USH is not as easy to fix/revamp as RCT made me believe

It's probably going to be that or maybe Dark Universe. Either way I think USH is getting a huge expansion soon
