Why does this child-focused ride not meet the criteria established by myself, an analytical non-child?

Damn. Guess I’m not allowed to enjoy the ride because I’m not a toddler. Guess I should stop playing Mario games too because “they aren’t made for me”.

It was always meant to be a low-tier "second ride" to relax for the small tikes to enjoy. I totally hear you as I was kind of hoping for something a little bit more than just a B-ticket, but like what someone else said, they worked with the space they had. It was never meant to be a really awesome D-ticket, just a simple kid's ride. It is what it is. Would've liked to have seen a bit more out of it (specifically the indoor section), but they did they best they could with it. And that's okay.

I'm also don't know why people were up in arms about this not coming to Hollywood. It would've offered some more kinetics to an already kinetics-crazy land, but I don't think USH's land is going to suffer at all without it, especially with SLoP.

Really the complaints I’ve seen make me feel Notning will please certain people. It certainly isn’t that opinions are invalid but rather than taking an analytical approach to why the attractions are at fault all I basically am hearing from any complaint is “This isn’t what I wanted”. Obviously fair, but I don’t hear arguments past that point and I think that’s why many are a bit over the timeline argument for a franchise that had all these characters playing Baseball together for one game for GameCube.

Yes, I agree with you. Based on rumours, I expected this to be more in line with a C-Ticket. Either two small interior sections, or one average sized (opposed to the one small one we got). It isn’t the end of the world. I just think it would’ve taken the pressure off of Mario Kart (which looks great, but not a “best of all time ride”).

Yoshi is disappointing because of length. I’m not sure why “the timeline” has become the sticking point of my argument.

The complaints about Mario Kart are strange. People seemed to want it to be more about racing then items?

I'd say Yoshi is definitely a C-ticket sized ride.

As for USH, I think it's weird that ti didn't get both Yoshi and Pets, but out of the two, Pets is the better choice

I opened myself up to ridicule with that one. It was just a point towards minor inconsistency, not a main issue I had with the attraction.

My issue with the Yoshi ride is the overall length of the attraction, as well as the mixture between Yoshi’s Island and 3D World (and game that features no Yoshis). The queue builds up to a Yoshi’s Island experience, and you don’t get that payoff. It should have been a dark ride with an outdoor section rather than an outdoor ride with a dark ride section.

Goal of the land Celebrate (and sell) Nintendo stuff

Like how Mario Kart has link there is no official timeline for mario.Zelda used to have one but even now is kinda messed up. You will save your self a lot of negative thoughts if you go in to have fun and see Nintendo stuff.
If we get a Zelda/Pokemon land unless they are just for ONE game I doubt the timeline will make sense there either

Not just talking about you lol

Yoshi I don’t think was ever rumored for more but I get it to a degree, MK I think is clear for theme park fans that it’s obviously an in person type thing. But no one can classify it as a screen ride for sure at least. I don’t get the complaints either

I agree but everyone is talking like SLOP was the only other option. They could have pumped SLOP money into our Yoshi ride and made it better...or use the same system and made a ride from a better IP (something from dreamworks)

I could be wrong but I think the rumor is that USH Creative was maybe quite literally given that choice, SLOP or Yoshi. Doesn’t make sense to me really but I’d imagine it’s just ultimately a $$ thing.

I believe I heard it playing in the background while watching UPNT video of the food reviews.

Edit: Sorry, it was the SMW Ending theme playing in the video I watched (at around the 20 minute mark in the below video)

There’s a lot I already love about the land. The positives outweigh the negatives. The Yoshi ride is really the only thing I’m criticizing (well, that and the absence of some significant Mario characters).

Hey. It was okay in Shadow the Hedgehog. Guess that’s not Nintendo though, but close enough.

I just can’t wait for the Metroid Prime ride where you are a ball racing through rooms with no shooting mechanics.

They’ll theme it around the 3DS Prime spinoff that people were upset over. Nintendo’s orders.

I don't get how two clashing aesthetics can't be criticized a bit. It's not like the ride is actively bad or anything. The ride is going to serve It's purpose fine. But, it is something to talk about.

What is the point of discussion if there can't be any criticism?

It’s not that there can’t be criticism that’s just an incredible immature conversation that you’re specifically posting here
