Not only does this look like the best version of Test Track... it's the most Epcot-y thing to happen in Epcot in decades.

We had a chance to ride the new Test Track 3 times today and really like it. I think the new practical sets play on the original World of Motion ride nicely and I like the short reference to the song It’s fun to Free. This is much better than the previous version. Here is look at the ride in 4K.
Now bring on the update to Journey to Imagination.

As others have said, this honestly looks really nice! Definitely an improvement over the previous version, the new effects look wonderful, and this one feels right at home at Epcot with how it's presented.

And while it seems like the finale still doesn't have the same near-miss fake out moment the original did, they absolutely plussed everything else in that scene to the point where I'm perfectly fine with that! It's miles better than the previous version's finale scene which was always underwhelming.

All in all, looks great to me!

Not watching POVs or reading up on specifics until I ride myself, but the positive reactions from everyone seem very reassuring. Hopefully I'll share the same sentiments!

Not a fan of POVs for rides I fully intend on riding, even the Asia parks (do you know how hard it's been to avoid that damn Beast transformation reveal from Tokyo's ride?)

But from the little bit I have seen while dodging spoilers for this, it looks GREAT. Keep bringing on the reactions!

Don’t know why I watched the POV but yeah, not bad.

I still think I would rank the versions 1, 3, 2. The opening version in its original state is hard to top.

And apparently between weather and problematic ride system it went down nearly all day yesterday, so like with Tianna, it's lipstick on a pig with the ride system getting little love in the downtime.

All rides have some form of downtime that’s the nature of a theme park ride.

It was raining all day pretty much, so we can't blame it on ride reliability just yet unfortunately.

They should have covered the exterior portion of the track though.

A long-time ride-op CM friend of mine who is familliar with the ride was scheduled to ride it-- it went down before the weather brought it down. They SHOULD have covered the track to make it so it could run in any weather. It's not like there would have been a great view of the parking lot lost by covering it up.

Walt knew how to do it 60+ years ago, why don't his Imagineers?
