I really hope that next episode, similar to how we dove straight into Ahsoka and the seeing stone this past episode that we get the Bill Burr jailbreak out of the way quick in Chapter 15. I really don't wanna be wasting too much episode time on that when we got larger (and more interesting) things to worry about and deal with.

Haha they have spoiled people. Now everyone is going to want straight to the point, no filler and no build up. I think we might spend half the episode on getting him out along with recruiting the rest of the people for the final battle.

My thing right now is, there's only 2 episodes left. There's not really much time to waste, especially knowing the episodes could be as short as 30 minutes or as long as 50+. That's a huge difference. Although I will admit, for how short Chapter 14 was, there was just SO MUCH packed in.

I know but especially with how the show is doing chapters....we have at least ten more episodes until the end if not longer. This is season 2 ending but the show has at least one more season. This is the middle chapter so everything might not be wrapped up by the end. While it might not have a cliff hanger...everything wont be wrapped up this seaon

Yeah, IDK if this is gonna end after the third season or get renewed, but I almost would like it to be a trilogy... as long as they end this season the way I think it should be done and this season is basically the ESB of The Mandalorian.

I would love if it ended at Season 3.....for now

Doesn't mean we can't get more Mando in the Future or he can't appear in another show but I would love for it to end on a high note. We have an Obi Won, Rogue one, Bad Batch, and Maybe Boba Fett or Rebels sequel series (both of which have been rumored for years)

Along with maybe a show about the new republic, I mean they have soooo much they could do and this is before we get to if they do Knight of the Old Republic or do a show for the new Time "High Republic". So I hope they end the show Season 3...maybe 4 if they do have enough stories. Also while I listed shows that are all basically spin off's for what we know....it could be cool to get something new like Mando, I hope they take another chance on a new character.

Just had this thought, especially after just re-watching the prequels... I think Giddeon is probably headed to Kamino. We know Giddeon wants to use Grogu as the subject for cloning. Boba Fett IS a clone and is from Kamino. The planet is unknown by most as it's wiped off the maps, but it makes sense that Giddeon would end up there to clone Grogu and Boba is probably one of the only people that Din could run across that actually knows about Kamino.

There's a lot they can do with Din, but I don't see him in any of the shows you mentioned due to the timeline they take place in and the fact that we know that Din knows next to nothing about Jedi's. Mando could definitely appear in an Ahsoka show though, I guess. If the Thrawn story moves over to her show, I could see him making a small appearance in her show.

Which to me is fine....Rey/Luke isn't going to show up in most these shows either doesn't mean she isn't apart of SW. But who know's what Disney will do, they for sure will want to make Mando go on forever but I'm hoping the creators get them to calm down and let Mando take a break and show up in Video games (he is in Fortnite now but the next battlefront) and the theme parks (I know you disagree but think him showing up in the Falcon ride at some point would just make people happy and honestly no one going to the parks cares about "timelines" we just want to have a good time)

What's kinda exciting right now is we don't know what is next and we all get to have theories and fun discussions which man...as a Star Wars fan its been a LONG time since the fandom has been this happy and I love it.

I think it also helps that the show is weekly (which I know some people still don't like). With the show being weekly, it allows it to be a water cooler show and it usually trends in the US all day on Fridays. This allows for fans to speculate each week as opposed to 8 episodes just dropping and that being it and the show basically being quickly forgotten in the pop culture zeitgeist.

And I know Mando would make people happy on the MF ride. But until I see Mando pilot the MF on-screen, it's inappropriate for him to be the pilot of it in the ride. Sure he's a pilot, but idk. Although I will say... we got a step closer to me accepting Mando in Smuggler's Run this week.

Your flying that ship...he would be in another ship for sure communicating with you maybe asking you for help or hired to help you.

I also agree, while I think many shows benefit from all at once (House of Cards, castlevania or work better that way after they are done like Rebels/Clone Wars or the Office) Disney is smart for having Mando and MCU shows being week to week...also unlike the Walking Dead or something which is 20ish episodes these shows are only 8 weeks or less. They are Special events, which do I think more shows should trim the fat and become special events? Yes i do and maybe years from now when TV is truly dead we will get that

That's true... still, the entire preshow centers around Hondo Ohnaka complete with AA, so it wouldn't be an easy thing even for an overlay. How about we first just try to get a Mandalorian-themed Star Tours update first?

I'm hoping they leave him dead. But I mean, just look at the last episode of The Mandalorian. The two people who came to help him (Fennec and Boba) we've seen die on screen previously. Someone is gonna answer that damn call and I just hope it's someone that makes sense, even if it is Luke. He at least fits the timeline and was searching for jedi's to start his training academy during this time.

Honestly the only one it should be is Luke, but they don't have the guts for that.

Personally I think it'd be better if *no one* answered the call, and Mando was forced to reckon with having to take care of the Kid permanently

Looks like you and I are on the same page as I edited my post to say that Luke "fits the timeline and was searching for jedi's to start his training academy during this time." But if they want longevity out of this show, then yeah, no one answering and Din just continuing on his adventures with him is kind of what people like anyway. But if I had to guess, this season will end with Mando not having gotten Baby Yoda back into his possession, which will lead into what next season is about + Thrawn as the big bad above Gideon.

I think the show kind of has to separate Mando and Grogu for a while, so that when we finally see Grogu again, he can have grown up just a little bit more. He's been a delightful character as an infant/toddler, but I think they've mined just about all they can, and the character needs to start being able to interact with other characters in a more autonomous, communicative way.

I'd keep him out of almost the entire next season, frankly.

I wouldn't keep him out of next season, but I would like to see him with Gideon (or Thrawn?) for an extended period of time. It seems like he is very susceptible to the Dark Side right now, so that would be a interesting dynamic to play with. Sort of try to build him up as a powerful Dark Side force user. In reality, I think Grogu is probably much more like Ahsoka and is probably more of a "gray jedi".

That would be a good way for a large portion of the audience to stop watching.

Which is why I'm not a showrunner.

For my purely personal enjoyment, I don't think they should leave Grogu an inarticulate baby for the duration of the show.

After the revelations of the recent episodes it doesn't make any sense that he's an inarticulate baby to begin with, but that's a discussion for elsewhere, lol
