Love that idea, but I want a boat ride out of it!
In a perfect world, we get a madcap trackless dark ride through the Warner Bros Toon Studios hosted by Bugs Bunny and featuring Yakko, Wakko, and Dot. Where ET now stands, we get a Duck Dodgers in the 24 and 1/2 Century ride using the same track but different theming (obviously). Yes, we lose a classic, but it's for the greater good (yet again). Add in a medium sized boat ride through the musical Looney Tunes (What's Opera, Doc?, Rabbit of Seville, etc), retheme the Nuthouse coaster to Wile E. Coyote and Road Runner, and rip out Fievel.
Theme the entire thing to a cross between DL's Toontown and a studio backlot, and you've got a land that can stand for the ages.
The only way to go IMO. That's the only thing out there as classic as Disney stuff.
It's the white whale out there from the original IoA plans. You nab the Looney Tunes, throw them into the park as it will be in 2014, and you've got a park that can go toe-to-toe with Disneyland for best park in the country.
Looney Toons would be great! I'd want that or Adventure Time/Regular Show.
I know a lot of people love those shows, but they're a bit too "out there" for a theme park, IMO.

I love Looney Tunes, but at Universal? Eh. It would look too "Six Flagsey" (not a word) in my opinion, and that's just icky.
:ack:
That's because you've only seen Looney Tunes in a Six Flags setting.
Would you say the same thing about a DC themed land?
